Continue up the mountain area with a camel ride, and take in stunning scenic views as you go. Afterward, your guide drives you up to Imlil Valley where you can rest on a terrace to enjoy a cup of Moroccan tea and a piece of cake. Your guide asks you a few options for the rest of the day, including how long of a walk you’d like to take and if you’d prefer to drive, walk, or ride a mule to your next stop.

Once you’ve decided, set out for Ait Souka Village. Lunch is waiting for you and your group. Experience a traditional Berber lunch, including salad, tajine, couscous, and fruit. At the village, follow your guide to the home of a Berber family, and learn about their culture and way of life before heading over to Moulay Brahim near the Asni Valley.

This was an amazing experience and specially with the Tour guide / Driver who was really accommodative and genuine. Its definitely worth your day and money! :). You get be in the base of Atlas mountains and the water falls (which was not the best) with breakfast and lunch. Camel ride was amazing and long with the traditional costumes (provided) but I am not sure if the camels suffer going in a convoy formation as they were tied to each other. Highly recommend this tour (If you are OK riding camels ! :)

Wonderful Adventure

Omar was at our hotel early and we drove the winding roads into the mountains. Omar was great. Patient when we asked to take photos and sang traditional Berber songs to us during the drive. We stopped at a co-op on the drive to the mountains, but since we had already bought souvenirs, we told Omar we wanted to skip the tour and get back on the road. The mountains are beautiful. Mohammad gave us a tour of the waterfalls - which was nice - just be sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes for walking up the steep trails on the mountain. Mohammad also took us to a Berber house for quick lunch and tea which was very nice and delicious (traditional tajine dish). Finally, the camel ride on the way back into town was the most memorable thing we did in Morocco. The camels are so gentle and quiet and once you get used to the movement, very enjoyable. We highly recommend Omar and this tour.

Absolutely Fantastic Excursion - I would definitely recommend this to everyone with all abilities!

The tour company that arranged this were absolutely fantastic. They messaged us via WhatsApp and they clarified concerns I had. My lad has a few small mobility issues and so we wanted to be sure that the trip could be customised to our liking - and it was! Our driver Ibrahim picked us up from Cafe Argana in the Djemma-el-Fna square as our Riad was located down streets where cars don't drive (donkey carts and bikes no problem!). We were picked up in a nice clean Mercedes Vito mini van with good air conditioning, clean interior (and exterior). Water was offered during the trip. Our driver wore a mask and ensured that we wore ours. His English was immaculate (especially considering my Tamazight is non-existent!) and he clearly explained the itinerary to us. We opted for less walking and reduced mule rides, so he arranged another driver, Mr Batata (Potato!) well his real name was Mohammed. Again a very friendly, amiable Amazigh gentleman who was very informative during the journey. We were able to stop for pictures pretty much wherever we wanted. The journey was comfortable and safe. The roads through the Atlas mountains are really well laid, even though they wind around the mountainside. Definitely take the meal option in the village. Definitely soak in the amazing scenery at Imlil. Definitely talk with the ladies from the Cooperative Argan Oil place. I cannot recommend this enough, especially for people who may have difficulty walking for long distances or on rough terrain.

Very accommodating and good host

Omar was a great host. First of all it was very good value, we got dropped and picked up from our hotel that was nearly 5 miles out of marrakesh inner city without question. Atlas Mountain tour guide (Mohammed Babala) included and stopped at beautiful scenes and shops on the way and allowed us to take as many breaks as we needed climbing up the mountain. We also made a stop at a women's cooperative with free tea and bread and homemade argan oil dips and we were shown how to grind the nuts into oil. Overall he was friendly, accommodating and ensured we had a good time and looked after us well. Would highly recommend.

Stunning and Healthy

The sights are breathtaking, and I've never experienced such clean fresh air as I did in Atlas. Mohammed, our guide, is fluent in English and really pleasant. The tour is a must-do throughout, but before you go, ask them for further information. Clothing, tour duration, and favored meals are just a few examples. I had never seen walnut and apple trees before. I may be a solitary traveler, but this group excursion introduced me to new people.

So highly recommend this excursion. Our driver Omar was safe and fun. Our guide Mohammed (Larbi) was absolutely wonderful- he was kind and patient and helpful and informative. Truly he made our time there so memorable. The camel ride was great at the end. We felt it was a great value and a day we will never forget.

Our tour guide Rasheed was so laid back and cool and climbed in a tree to get us the perfect pic! Our Atlas mountain tour guide Mohamed was humble and kind and accommodating as he graciously welcomed us in his home and served us Morroccan tea. From the mountain views to peaceful waterfall and delicious home-cooked meal,, we loved it all. It was a full day and checked all boxes, definitely more than worth it!
