Discover the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains on a full-day trip from Marrakech that explores broad valleys and lush orchards with views of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Ride a camel through a broad gorge, pause for tea in Imlil Valley, then hike to the isolated village of Ait Souka to share a meal in a Berber family’s home. Throughout the day, take in the mountains’ beautiful scenery: terraced gardens that climb steep hillsides, tumbling waterfalls, and an alpine kasbah.

Magical Morocco

Brilliant and informative day out with the perfect host/guide Issmail and his wingman (driver Chawi). From camel rides to Berber Villages where Issmail grew up and still lives via some stunning scenery and a delicious lunch in a local restaurant (optional on the day) …. An hour or so walk through the mountains and villages, waterfalls, local arts and crafts … Oh, and a few cups of tea along the way of course!
Very entertaining!

We really enjoyed our tour. Ahmed was funny and made even the journey on the bus very entertaining! It was amazing to see the mountains and the villages alongside their traditions. Highly recommended, Tamara and Scott
Atlas mountain tour

Fantastic tour. We got picked up from our hotel as planned and taken to Atlas mountain. On the way our driver stopped for photos of the beautiful scenery and was given a free traditional breakfast. Our guide Mohammed Babala was exceptional. We had small children with us and Mohammed was always there to help them while walking through the beautiful mountain villages and pathways. The drive to the camel ride was beautiful as we drove up the mountain. This is a highly recommend trip.
A wonderful experience

This was a lovely day enjoyed by all the family. The host went over and above to ensure everyone in the group was safe, and slowed down when he needed to wait for some of the less fit members of the group. We was served delicious fresh cooked food on a terrace overlooking stunning views, and the water falls, and berber villages were lovely to see and experience. I would definitely recommend.
Special thanks to our driver and guide

A really nice and pleasant day trip with our guide Ismael :-) Without hesitating I recommend this excursion in the Atlas mountain to discover the berber lifestyle and the Agafay desert. Special thanks to our driver and Ismael ! The best team ever 👍🏽 Élodie & Amjid
Great family day out!

Great tour guides issmail and driver aziz took us to the waterfall through the hills in August and it was a great sight! Had lunch- chicken tagine which was one of the best we had in Morocco and only 65 MAD p/person but no info given before food served that it was at an extra cost before serving or eating but I was happy to pay as it was great! Great price trip and took the kids too- great family day! ( wear grippy shoes for hill walking as it can be sloppy on angles and dusty)
Absolutely worth it!

Wonderful tour of this fascinating region. Big should out to our guide Mohamed, nicknamed "Potatoes" by locals, who showed us his home village and made it a day to remember!
Must tour when visiting Marrakech

Fabulous day trip, well looked after by Ismail, who was very polite and respectful. He is very knowledgeable and great with children. We were able to take in the breathtaking views without rushing. Lunch was fantastic. Highly recommend

Fantastic tour of Atlas Mountains
, Mar 2020
Mohammad was a fantastic guide. He was really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The day itself was really great. I wasn’t looking forward to the camel ride but you could see that the camels were well cared for. The family dress you up and then put you on the camels who all have names and then you ride for about 20 minutes. Then you drive up into the mountains (where it is lovely and cool). Mohammad makes sure there are plenty of photo stops. We then went for lunch which cost roughly £6.50. It was bread, rice, a chicken ravine with banana and blood orange to finish with bottled water to drink, it was lovely. We then had a guided walk to the waterfall and back down to the lower village. You then stop to see the local ladies milling argon oil, they explain all the uses and show you their products at no time did I feel pressured to buy anything. I would recommend this tour to anyone although for the hike you need to be mobile. You can opt out of the hike, camel ride, lunch etc. Thank you Mohammad you were amazing
As described. V good.
