Marmaris Jeep Safari, Waterfall, Jesus Beach

Be prepared to be pressured into paying 20tl (£3) to hire a water pistol to partake in a one hour water fight with other jeeps whilst driving. Jesus beech and the waterfalls are very very busy in August and underwhelming. Save your money and do a more worthwhile trip.

So the day happens as follows. Pickup at 9ish in Marmaris, followed by one or two other pickups. Then arrive at meeting point one where we waited 20-30 mins for a few other jeeps, you can wait in the jeep or have a quick drink in the cafe. Then you head 20mins outside of Marmaris to meeting point 2 where you wait for even more jeeps to arrive. In the mean time you are encouraged to rent water guns for 15TRY. Once everyone arrives all the jeeps head off together. Basically the first hour is along country roads where a massive waterfight happens between all the jeeps, this is not mentioned in the description so I was not prepared to get wet, actually soaked is a better description. There is no way to opt out so if you are not prepared to get very wet don't go. Once the jeeps hit proper roads then the water fight stops. There is then a quick stop at a cafe to get changed. The next stop is at a popular place called Jesus Beach which is a small beach with a sand/stone spit you can walk out onto. The last stop is lunch which was OK then a short ride to the a waterfall which was OK but it got very busy. Overall it was a good tour for the price but I wish they mentioned the water fight, I would have been more prepared and enjoyed it more if I knew.
