This activity will end right where it started.
Greet your guide at your disembarking point and don your protective helmet before climbing onto your modern bicycle. Set off at a leisurely pace down a picturesque path parallel to the harbor and admire the seaside scenery as you approach Palma de Mallorca Old Town. Absorb the charming elegance of the Basilica of St Francesco then cycle through the gorgeous greenery of Parc de la Mar.

Listen to engaging tales of local legend and heritage then arrive before the Gothic glory of Palma Cathedral (La Seu), a colossal construction built upon the foundation of an Arab mosque and partly designed by inspiring architect Antoni Gaudi. Continue through the ambient sprawl of Plaza España then stop outside of a beloved and bustling tapas bar. If you haven’t upgraded to include tapas, return to the tour’s original departure point, passing picturesque spots like Bellver Castle and the pretty port.

If you have upgraded, venture within to tantalize your taste buds with three local delicacies such as crisp patatas bravas (crispy potatoes smothered in spicy tomato sauce and garlic mayonnaise) and delectable cured meat and cheese. Refresh with a drink of your choice then climb back onto your bike to return to the original departure point well in advance of your cruise ship’s departure.

Worry-free Shore Excursion:

Perfect way to see Palma

Jaime was wonderful. We were able to cover a lot of territory around the city - see some things off the beaten path (convent), while also experiencing major attractions. Very informative & engaging. Would highly recommend!

A great way to see the city in a short period of time

We only had a few hours in this port and did not know what to expect. We loved seeing Palma by bike and our tour Yourn was great! He made sure everyone felt comfortable on their bicycle by ensuring the appropriate fit and air pressures. He set a pace that was reasonable and enjoyable. We had no idea how beautiful Palma was and seeing it on bike was even better. I liked how their were only 10 people in the tour, making it more intimate. It was a perfect taste of Palma and we would love to come back!

We had a mix up with which shop to meet at. The directions from the cruise ship were not the best, but once arriving at the bike shop (I'm still not sure if we were at the right one), they were so helpful and made it a great tour. Our guide Maurice from Holland was awesome!

Location was bit confusing but we did find it and the beginning of the tour was a little unorganized. We did end up having a great tour led by Xander. We saw many great places in Palma and Xander had great knowledge about the sites. The tapas were very good and the weather was spectacular. Definitely would recommend this tour.

Palma Bike Tour

, Oct 2018
We loved this tour. The guide Juan was great. He was very knowledgeable about Palma and gave excellent information. The biking was not that difficult and we stopped often to hear the history of the island. Very enjoyable. Also get the Tapas!! They were delicious!! My only criticism was the directions to the bike shop were from Terminal 2. If you are sailing on the Symphony of the Seas or a ship that is not at Terminal 2 it is a MUCH longer walk than advertised. It was about a 30 minute walk.

We took the tour that combined the Tapas tasting. We started at the bike shop we took a taxi from our cruise ship because we docked at pier 6 that cost us 11.75 euros - which was perhaps a 6 minute ride - but they had a minimum charge. Our group of 6 are in our 50s/60s and some had not ridden bikes for years...and it was an easy and relaxing ride for all. Maurice was informative, interesting, knowledgeable- and made us all want to come back to this beautiful city. Highly recommend that you do the tapas tasting, we had the opportunity to try tapas that we never would be brave enough to try on our own!

I think that this business overbooked itself or was short of staff. We got there early and saw it send off a huge group from the cruise ship at 2:00 p.m. We came back at three and lone guide had to get the two of us on our bikes, etc., and then take us to pick up a group of six more at the other location. We did not start the tour until 2:45, that is, depart the other location to ride to the old city. He made the best of the time remaining. Very enjoyable. Our guide was great and the tapas were great.

What a great day biking around Mallorca with Ingrid! She was so much fun and this was such a wonderful way to explore the city with the limited time that we had. She took us to a monastery where we were able to buy delicious cookies from the nuns. I would highly recommend you book this tour with the option for tapas and a drink - it was great to hang out in the piazza eating delicious tapas!

This would have and should have been a really great tour, had it not been for the 22 of us, with one guide and some folks who should not have been on a bicycle tour in the first place. The tour would have been fabulous with perhaps a maximum of 12 of us!

This was a good tour BUT if you are docking on Symphony of the sea it is not a 2minute walk from the port as this ship docks at a port that is at the other side of the port, making it a 30 minute walk I had been to palma before and new this but other people did not so we had to wait for another group of 14 people to turn up 45minutes later . Not a good start, the cycle tour was very good with a great guy who took us to some interesting places in Palma .VIATOR PLEASE INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS OF WHERE SYMPHONY DOCKS, AS THIS IS A GOOD 30MINUTE WALK.

Our family 1 had a fabulous time. Our guide was informed, if not overinformed. He barely took a breath. We had a good ride, and biking was fun. I would suggest a smaller group...there were 15 of us....too many. Have the guide get everyone together before talking. Have him wear a mic. Would be very helpful. We were late and he waited for us, so we were very grateful for him waiting for us.

I have been on other bike tours but this one was ok. The guide said it was not a race and we would get there together. The hills were a little more than I was used too. The steering around pedestrians, scooters and horse drawn buggies was a little tough. The guide constantly left me behind. At one point I was going to leave the bike and helmet and find my own way back. The tapas was good! In fact they were the best part of the tour!

Great way to see the city of Palma. The location on where to meet was not easy but once we found the starting point, it was all down hill from there. The location of the starting point is near the Dock. and the Bus stop is Porta Pi.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was a fun way to see the city. However, someone should correct the guide about his comments about the Jews since it was very offensive and not true!

Great overview of area for first-timers to this city. Commentaries by the guides provided history and insight of the beautiful sites. The only downside was the group was a little on the large side making it difficult to hear everything the guide was explaining. Perhaps personal earbuds would alleviate this.

This bike tour was very disappointing. Our tour had 18 people, far to many. The roads are alleys , way to narrow and crowded to share with people, bikes and cars at the same time. It was scarey dangerous. Couldn’t wait for this tour to end.

Made a change from walking around. Mostly on cycle paths or on the narrow streets around Palma's cathedral. My wife and I, in our sixties enjoyed it. Leisurely pace throughout.

Amy W
, Oct 2017
This was one of our favorite parts of our European vacation! We were in a small group, which definitely helped. But it was calm and enjoyable, while still beautiful and educational. This is definitely worth doing. My daughter didn't love the Tapas, but still appreciated it as part of the experience. We would do it again in a heartbeat and neither one of us had ridden a bike in years. :
