My husband and I did the food tasting walking tour in Palma when we were in Mallorca and it was excellent. Our english speaking guide was very informative and friendly with us. We enjoyed all the food we tried and we learned a lot about the history and the culture of Mallorca. The tour was a great value for money.

Unmissable tour in Mallorca

This tour is an excellent way to discover Palma de Mallorca if you like exploring places through their local cuisine. I was really looking forward to this walking tour from the moment I booked and it didn't disappoint. Our local guide, Jeannine was an endless fount of knowledge and took our small group to some delightful off-the-beaten-track places. (Who knew that you could stroll up to the door of a convent, ring the bell and buy delicious cakes from an actual nun?!). She never tired of questions that she must hear every day, and she really took the time to make sure that everyone in the group was getting along and having fun. I didn't expect to really have much to eat but I was unable to manage lunch after this tour! This tour absolutely made my stay in Palma.

This was a very nice different way to discover the wonderful city of Palma. The tour was well organized and the places to taste local food and drink were interesting and great. What made it special was that our guide Jeannine was friendly and expert and overall took care to make sure we had such a great time. If we had been on our own we probably either would not have found some of the places. Definitely recommend it!

Best Experience

Jeanine was an outstanding guide! I have done close to a dozen Viator tours over Europe and this was my best one! You get some history and a lot of food stops....including a tapa and wine at the local market. You may also purchase things along the way. Went in January 2020 and it was very quiet which it was great because we saw a lot and did some extra stop. I had been to Palma two other times before this and never eaten any of the food we tried. Was so surprised how we missed these stops before....more local and less touristy so made sense. You won’t regret it! Great value!

Amazing experience

In each city we visit we try to do a walking tour but we look for something different. After some research we found this tour offered by nofrills excursions and we thought it will be a great way to visit Palma. What a great choice we did! The tour is 3 hours long and the guide takes you around Palma doing stops to learn about the city and the local food and drinks. She is very knowledgeable and she took us to some places that we wouldn’t have found ourselves. We stopped at a nuns monastery, a local bakery, a local market, a hidden tapas bar and a “secret spot”. All tastings were included and we loved them plus we did some shopping for presents to take home. It was definitively a great value for money and we will book it again when we go back to Palma.
