I gave it four stars because this was our first food tour and I have nothing to compare it to. It was well run. The tour guide was very informative and seemed to enjoy her job. The food tastings were also yummy.

Dear Lori, thank you so much for choosing our Hollywood tour as your VERY first food tasting tour. You will probably seek out other food tours now in every city you visit, as they are addicting. I am happy you enjoyed the stories I shared and the food tastings too. I feel very lucky to be an ambassador of LA, promoting our great city and small businesses too. Wishing you and your family good health and continued safe travels, Trish

Absolutely must do

One of the best tours of our holiday. Trish started with a walking tour of the Chinese Theatre and the Dolby Theatre with lots of history and information. Happy to take photos of us at any of the places. Then we set of in her car for a tour around Hollywood again with lots of interesting facts and stories. First stop was for breakfast at a lovely diner called Grub. Delicious food and service. Next a quick stop for pizza at Mozza.. Garlic pizza like i have never had before. Queue was round the block but no problem as Trish collected ours from the kitchen door! Then off to Greenblatts Deli & Wine shop. Wonderful pastrami sandwiches homemade coleslaw. The deli counter is a treat for the eyes. Next a etreat indeed. John Kelly Chocolates.. The actual shop and factory where the chocolates are made. We got to see the process of the handmade chocolates being made and taste the amazing flavours. Semi-sweet chocolate & Thai coconut curry with curry sea salt. Tasted just like its name definitely my favourite. Finally a visit to Mashti Malones old fashioned ice cream parlour. Just like all the others a family business that we would never have found without doing this trip. Again different flavours to the normal this time the winner for me was Rosewater sorbet with rice noodles! Dont judge until you try!. It was then a brief drive back through Hollywood with some more stories and sights. I cant recommend this trip enough. It is well worth it and Trish is a very warm and friendly person who is well known and trusted by the businesses. Excellent.

Dear Alison, What a delightful, thorough review of our Hollywood Sites & Bites tour! It makes me hungry reading it. With so many places to eat in Hollywood, it was truly my intent to feature places that visitors may not find on their own, and it was also important to highlight smaller, family-owned businesses. I am blessed to partner with some wonderful folks who love our tours and I am happy you can see the relationship we have established. I couldn't do such a quality tour without them. Thank you for your lovely review and recommendation. I hope our paths cross again. Best wishes from your new foodie friend, Trish

Our guide was delightful from start to finish and we both had a wonderful time. The tour was the perfect combination of a little bit of Hollywood glam and an emersion into some awesome food. Will not forget the Bacon ( Best in the USA ) and the Sourdough Pizza was super yummy....then there was the warm fudge straight from the commercial kitchens.. OMG !! This tour is a must do !!

Fantastic Food & Hollywood Sights

I absolutely loved this tour! Our guide Trish was very knowledgeable and friendly. She arrived at the meeting place early and showed us around some of Hollywood Boulevard. The food tasting was unreal, and if you warned her of allergies ahead of time she made sure to accommodate this. By far my favourite restaurant we tried was "Grub", and I'll certainly be going back there for more food when I next return! I would highly recommend this tour as a great way to explore Hollywood and try some of the best food in the area.

Trish was absolutely fabulous. She gave of the highlights of West Hollywood along with several great eateries. We thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. We never would have made it to any of these spots without Trish. Trish was prepared for everything. She had Advil for my son and a birthday candle to help celebrate my husband's birthday.

What a fun food tour of Hollywood...

What a fun food tour of Hollywood! A very nice small group of 7 people. We started with an hour walking tour of significant sights around the Hollywood and Highland intersection, including the iconic Hollywood sign in the hills. So much Hollywood history including walking the entryway staircase to the Dolby Theater with all the Oscar winners of Pictures of the Year prominently placed on both sides of the walkway. She explained the stars on the walk of fame, and also the hand and footprints in front of Graumann's Chinese Theater. From there we hopped into Trish's van and had a 3 hour excursion of nearby neighborhood eating establishments. that only locals would know about Gourmet quesadillas, pizza, pastrami and coleslaw with a dill pickle, chocolates, and ice cream. Just enough for a good sampling of everything! I think food tours really give you a flavor of the culture and trends in new destinations, and this did just that so wonderfully. Trish was so friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, and so prepared for the unexpected. Applause, applause..... this is a great food tour.

Trish did an outstanding job of giving us a Hollywood experience rich in Tinseltown history and culinary delights. Our group of four consisted of my husband and I who live locally and two friends from Philadelphia. Although we have lived in the area for decades, we learned so much that we never knew about the Oscars and Hollywood history. Loved learning all of the scoops! The food was yummy and creatively presented from bacon to pizza to pastrami to chocolate to ice cream! Trish did a great service in introducing us to gem eateries in the area. Transportation was very comfortable. We absolutely recommend this tour for all locals and visitors!
