Great guide
, Oct 2019
Colin was driver and narrator on this informative and interesting tour. He gave us plenty of time to walk around the Cotswolds, Oxford and Stratford as well as being an informative and funny walking tour guide.
Worth It
, Sep 2019
The tour was great. Our guide was friendly and offered a ton of great information. There are optional group tours on the trip - which operate like small guided walking tours and is much easier with the small van of people. But you also get the option to explore the destinations by yourself. The trip fits a lot into one day. Each place could be it's own day or longer tour but there's adequate time to explore and get a taste of every one of the stops. Before booking I was worried by some reviews complaining about the length of times at the stops. But keep in mind there's only so much time when you're driving to four different towns in a 10 hour trip. The only thing that was disappointing was getting to Oxford too late to go in most of the buildings (particularly the Harry Potter ones). Things close early, especially on Sundays. You can still head into a tourist trap and grab Oxford sweatshirts on sale so I guess that's a minor consultation. All in all the tour was fabulous and worth the money.
Fabulous informative day.

Great Outing for Small Groups

Colin was punctual and entertained/engaged us throughout the trip. The beautifully-drawn bus (named Betty) was just the right size as it navigated the small roads around Cotswold and allowed us a peek into the beautiful streams and small bridges in the English countryside.Had a very good day's visit and would strongly recommend this nice tour company.
The 4 Stars is for Andrew, the tour...

The 4 Stars is for Andrew, the tour guide/driver for his professionalism, knowledges and good sense of humor. The tour itself should be a 2: lot of driving, short time at Cotsworlds (our main focus); too long at Startford-upon-Avon. This tour is an introductory and is not for photography enthusiast

Hi Kathleen, Thanks for your review. Great to hear you enjoyed Andrew's guiding. As for not enjoying the rest of the tour - you booked a tour to Stratford, the Cotswolds and Oxford. The itinerary is clearly published, and if you only wanted to visit The Cotswolds then perhaps you should have booked a dedicated Cotswolds tour, rather than write negative comments about a tour itinerary that was delivered as promised. We spend 2 hours in Stratford. An hour for free time/lunch and visiting Shakespeare's birthplace, then a 45 minute walking tour with your guide and 15 minutes to see the church where Shakespeare is buried and it's surrounds. In 10 years of operating this tour I can't remember anyone saying this was too long in Stratford. Given the locations of the sights you visit on this tour - there is a fair amount of driving, but this is why your guide provides commentary along the way - as there is so much to see and so many beautiful sights to admire. May I suggest that next time you book a tour, make sure you want to visit all the locations on the itinerary. Many thanks, Jen
