Private 3 hour Beatles Tour of Liverpool by Taxi

Really enjoyed this private Beatles tour. Alan was very knowledgable about Beatles and local history. As a scouser myself who moved away 35 years ago I learnt lots of new things!

Jimmy was a knowledgeable and pleasant host. He covered the places we were keen to see. He was on time and did not hurry us along.

Arrived on time. Driver very knowledgeable and interesting, plenty of time at the places we stopped. Over all a good experience.

At last I was able to fulfill my Bucket list .. Our guide ( Jack / Jake) was very knowledgeable and accommodating...

This tour was exactly what I was looking for when I went to Liverpool. My wife and I booked a 9:30 AM tour. Our driver/guide (Eddie) was waiting for us outside our hotel well before the scheduled start time. I handed him a list of places I wanted to see and he told me all of those places were on his agenda for the tour. PERFECT! In September 2017, we did the Magical Mystery Tour of Liverpool. That was a good tour but, we only drove past a few of the sites I wanted to explore. On the Private Beatles Tour of Liverpool by Taxi, we got out of the taxi and walked around each of the sites. This is exactly what I wanted to do. Our guide, Eddie, had supplemental pictures and loads of information about each of our tour stops. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend you request him if you book one of these tours. I plan to return to London and Liverpool in 2021 and I plan to do this tour again.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. We loved the driver's tape of Beatles songs as he drove us to all those legendary sites like Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable.

We had a private tour because I wanted to introduce the Beatles to my granddaughters...we got to see the houses and hear the history of the Beatles as they grew up in Liverpool, we saw Strawberry Hill and Penny Lane and got to hear the story behind the creation of both songs. This is a perfect way to discover the Beatles!

The tour was both interesting and entertaining. The major problem was with understanding our guide. He was nice enough and knowledgeable but was difficult to understand because of his Irish version of English. I really don't know how to solve this problem but it did impact how much we enjoyed the tour.

Cab driver made numerous rude comments about Pres. Trump- including that he was named after a fart. The passenger side seat belt didn't work. When we told him he spoke to us as if we were idiots. We had to sit in the middle and driver side seat belts in this extremely HOT CAB. No AC. I kept rolling the window down and driver woukd put it back up. SO HOT!!!
