Awesome tour with an excellent guide. Yahaida shared a lot of information and even talked about many things that gave a glimpse into Peruvian people’s lives. The food was great and a good introduction to Peruvian food and ingredients.

Amazing tour and the guide was awesome. I learned lot of the Peruvian food, culture and markets, we have visited the fisherman's area, local markets and barranco, tried local Peruvian scnacks (they were really huge portions), local fruits and he also wanted to take us for more food but it was more than enough. The tour guide was very informative, kind, patient, funny and I had the feeling that I was talking with a friend of mine. Very good tour, I highly recommend it.

This was my first time visiting Lima, Peru and it was a great way to dive into the city! Edmund was fantastic, knowledgeable and personable, making sure that they tour was geared to my liking. The lunch selection…perfecto!! It was about a 4 hour tour but it didn’t feel like since it was half driving and half walking among the different neighborhoods and barrio. I would highly recommend.

Amedeo our tour guide made this tour a wonderful experience. He showed us the best tours that make us use all of our senses and above all an open mind. Seeing Barranco through the eyes of the locales is the best kind of adventure. Beautiful people, delicious food and above all wonderful company. Our group consisted of my siblings and each of our spouses. Amadeo was very informative and engaging and we had a wonderful driver Yohan. This tour is very informative and we learnt a ton about local people, culture and most importantly food;) We start at the fisherman wharf to see the daily life and learn about their struggles. I also learn the names of several local fishes that I have never seen before for instance the "guitar". Then we moved to taste all kinds of local fruits and seafood. I had my first amazon piranha that day. We ended the tour with a trip the art walk. Our tour guide gave us a lot of background on those arts and neighborhood if Barranco. I would highly recommend this tour for people who want to have a fun day exploring the city in deep and try some food. It is half day, so you have plenty of time to do other explorations yourself as well.

We loved our tour of Lima on Sunday morning - we had the best time. You get to visit the fish market, and try amazing local food. Also loved walking around Barranco, such a fun vibrant neighborhood, and you get to see all the murals. Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide Pamela and our Driver were GREAT! Prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The market tour was really how the Peruvians shop and cook. Great fun. Our lunch was not good. I would suggest choosing a place with nice Peruvian food, but not in such a primitive place. Fish was not fresh, ceviche was a bit mushy, and the fried rice had little taste. I know Pamela could not control this, so please choose another place for her to take us - perhaps the little bistro at the Bridge of Sighs? . :-)

This was a really great experience. It was my first day in Peru and it was made memorable and enjoyable by the guide and her knowledge and friendliness. Pickup was on time which is always a good start. Time at the market was great with really interesting tastings of different fruits. Peruvian snacks and a lunch were also given so this is a tour to go on when you are hungry!! The later part of the tour was the 'colors' part and it was gorgeous to see the street art. Pamela? was fabulous - interesting in all ways and very aware of the needs of the very small group. It was a great tour.
