Why Travelers Choose This Tour
Not your average Hoover Dam tour. A professional comedian keeps you entertained as you walk across the dam.
After a morning pickup from your select Las Vegas hotel, make a stop at the famous Las Vegas sign for a photo, then get to know the comedian guide on the trip east to Hoover Dam. On the way, stop in Boulder City to check out the Boulder City-Hoover Dam, which offers interactive displays and exhibits, photographs, artifacts and oral histories of the men and women who built the facility back in 1931.
Upon arrival at Hoover Dam, enjoy a detailed history lesson from the guide, followed by a 30-minute Power plant tour. Learn about the dam and its operations, as well as the many unique features around the site, like the huge water pipes and mammoth generators. Then take a 1-hour walking tour around the top of the dam, where many a photo has been taken from the arch bridge that spans the Colorado River between Arizona and Nevada.
Lunch will be provided, then on the return trip to Las Vegas, learn more about Sin City (including some little-known stories). The tour ends with drop-off at your select Las Vegas hotel.
Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign
After morning pickup from your select Las Vegas hotel by comfortable, air-conditioned bus, make a photo stop at the 'Fabulous Las Vegas' sign on your way out of town.
Arrive at Hoover Dam, where your entertaining and super-knowledgeable comedian guide will provide a full history of the dam. Embark on the 30-minute Hoover Dam Power plant tour, which allows you to journey into the walls of Black Canyon to view one of the dam's huge water pipes and some of its massive generators.
Enjoy a satisfying lunch, and head back to Las Vegas. On the way, listen to anecdotes about Las Vegas' colorful past, including its connection to Howard Hughes and the mafia, during the final stretch of the drive. Your action-packed 6.5-hour Hoover Dam tour concludes with drop-off at your select Las Vegas hotel.
The actual tour of the Hoover Dam was fine, and our tour guide was great. However, NONE of the extra’s advertised by Viator were actually included. There was no stop at the sign, no museum, and certainly no ticket vouchers. What a huge disappointment.
The tour was great. Trevor did a great job. Kept is steady and easy and funny along the way. Only about 15 of us on the van which allowed us to ask questions and connect with others on the tour. Would recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Trevor was great but we could have stopped after the Hoover Dam tour instead of going to a bunch of places that probably paid to be on the tour. Everyone was bored after we left the dam. No need to see a chocolate factory where nothing was happening and was just a reason to have people shop in their store, or a museum in an old town where nothing was happening and was just a reason to have people shop in their store, or eat lunch at a restaurant when everyone just wanted the tour to end.
Excellent. Was told a mini van would pick us up. It was a small bus so very happy about that. Very comfortable. Arrived on time. Jason was the star of the show. Oh yeah and Hoover Dam was nice too. lol
Everything was organized and up to par.
The Tour was GREAT ! Jason was a wonderful tour guide. We loved all of his information and facts that he knew about the Hoover Dam. The lunch was good. Much better than we expected it to be. Thanks for a great tour Jason.......
