After convenient pickup from your hotel in Bayahibe or Punta Cana, transfer to the beach in Bayahibe. Climb aboard the spacious motorize catamaran and find a spot to relax on the deck. Sip drinks from the open bar and keep your camera at the ready for the copious photo ops of the passing tropical scenery. You can also learn how to dance bachata and merengue from the boat's staff.

Make a stop at one of the area's best dive sites for some snorkeling. Slip on the provided mask, snorkel, and flippers, then dive in to explore the undersea world.

Continue to your destination, the beach at Catalina Island, where you'll indulge in a typical Dominican buffet lunch and an open bar. After lunch, walk on the beach or simply relax and take in the sun.

My wife and I had a great time on this excursion. We had a very informative tour guide by the name of Luis. The entire time on the boat, island, and water was a fun time. The only drawback, if you can consider it a drawback, is the travel time to get to the final location. However, I will acknowledge, the it all depends on which resort you are staying at as to the length of the trip. That aside, it is a great day of water activity.
