A good couple of hours spent learning and participating in parts of a traditional tea ceremony. A Maiko hosted us and was very thorough in her process. We were given options of kneeling and sitting on the floor or at a small table and chair which suited us better. This did not detract from the experience. We chose and paid extra for the private ceremony and appreciated the one on one attention.(There was a mix up with this arrangement, but the staff quickly rectified the problem). Another good Japan experience

This was one of the highlights of our trip. We all dressed in authentic kimonos and participated in a tea ceremony with a Geisha. It was very entertaining & we were able to ask many questions about the life of a Geisha.
