Sip on some refreshing Polish beer before heading to Rynek Główny, the city’s main market square. As you go, hear more about Poland’s culinary influences and history from your guide, including how exactly the Poles came to hold stew, pierogies, and soup so close to their hearts.

Continue to one of the square's hidden gems to sample a hot, Krakovian soup. Learn the significance of beetroot soup while you eat, and the story behind the city's yearly soup festival.

After following your guide past Wawel Royal Castle and Cathedral, stop to dig into some authentic pierogies. Savor a taste of the ‘real deal,’ stuffed with meat, potatoes, cheese, sauerkraut or even fruit.

Tomasz was a great host! Perfect English skills and he had a real enthusiasm for the food and culture of Krakow. He took me to 4 different restaurants, had a table reserved at each place, and our food & drinks came very quickly. There were no tourists in these places, only locals. In the soup restaurant he arranged a sampler with 4 different soups that I could try before deciding on which one to eat. In the Pierogi restaurant we ate both vegetable and fruit Pierogis. The evening was capped off by desert with a shot of vodka in the Jewish Quarter. While walking between restaurants Tomasz pointed out little unknown facts about Krakow that most tour guides would leave out. One of the best evenings & dinners I've ever had as a tourist.

Amazing food and commentary about Krakow! We went to places we never would have known about and ate foods we didn’t know existed. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable , and open to our inquiries about Polish food and culture. Highly recommend! Come hungry... maybe don’t eat all day because the food is so plentiful!

Absolutely wonderful! It was great to experience some local food, guide was very knowledgeable and excellent conversationalist. I ended up being the only one on the tour so we were able to try some dishes I had never had before, and the guide was very knowledgeable about cultural and historical influences on culinary traditions. I will certainly recommend this tour to friends, and to anyone with a passion for food or curiosity about Polish culture through cuisine.

This was SUCH a great way to spend Saturday night in Krakow! Martha (sp?) was a terrific guide-funny, personable, and full of information. She took us to so many places and we were fed so well...I was stuffed by the time we were done. I am a solo traveler, and it was a great way to meet a few people and hang out and have good conversation over delicious bites. I would definitely do this again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Krakow!

We had a great food tour with Sabrina as our guide. In a group of 8 people we went to 4 venues, tried many typical Polish dishes, drank beer and vodka and had a great time. It truly seemed like a party—I loved this experience!!

I have taken a lot of these food tours. They run from really great to the not so great. This was one of the really great tours. Joanna was so much fun and very interesting. We went to several restaurants all over the city having traditional polish food and a little beer. What we got were actual servings not just small samples, so go hungry!

This tour is highly recommended, our guide OLGA was amazing, took us to great places, the beer was great, the food was delicious, a great mix of local cuisine, including appetizers, soups and, of course, pierogis. We had a great time and the walk allow for the food to settle as there was very generous portions.

Very happy with this tour. Starting with beer was always a plus. Mostly the food was ok but didn’t necessarily tantalise the taste buds but everyone was well and truly full before the end although we all found room for cake and vodka! Our guide Matteus was informative and passionate. He provided a greater understanding of a city and country with a fascinating history. He did so much more than just show us tradional polish fare. All round a great tour!
