From your meeting spot, your group sets off on a Christmas adventure through the nearby Christmas market. The market happens annually during the month of December. Enjoy a hot coffee or tea in a cafe that’s hidden underground, and then pop back up into the square.

Cruise through the wooden-stalled shops, and pick out Christmas gifts or souvenirs you’d like to take home with you (own expense). Make a few stops to sample regional cheeses and mulled wine. Then, go to a gallery, and catch a glimpse of beautifully hand-painted Christmas ornaments.

Finish your tour with a meal of traditional Krakow Christmas dishes at a local restaurant. This tour ends at about 12:30pm at the main square where you can choose to explore the market more on your own.

Great way to get to know the heart of...

Great way to get to know the heart of Old Town and learn some of the Polish Christmas traditions. My guide, Monika, was fantastic. We ended up tasting a lot of different snacks, and she introduced me to an amazing pub that I ended up going back to every single day for the whole week that I was in town.
