Picked up on time from our selected hotel, the day got off to a good start. Useful information given by our driver followed by a DVD on Auschwitz etc which was quite heavy going. The tour around Auschwitz one and two was excellent, very interesting. Our tour guide was brilliant, you could tell she was very passionate about it. The salt mine was different to what we expected but still fascinating. We had 45 mins to wait for this part of the tour but it gave us chance to grab a cuppa and look around the areas park. Would highly recommend doing both and definitely get a tour guide!

Good day out but terrible taxi driver

The Auschwitz tour and the Salt Mine tour were very good. But the taxi driver who took us from our hotel was terrible. At one point we were traveling at over 140kph in very heavy rain while racing the other taxi in our group weaving through the traffic on the motorway. It was very dangerous and pointless since we were actually ahead of schedule not running late.
