How can I let you know where to pick me up?
We can offer pick up for this tour from Hotels in Krakow city centre. Let us know where you are staying in the 'Special Requirements' box in the Traveler Details section during checkout. Or you can let us know after booking by visiting 'Manage my Booking' and emailing us there.
Very moving and informative visit our guide Magda was excellent. Unfortunately some of the exhibits were closed due to the current climate but this did not distract too much. Would certainly recommend this tour.
The private pick up from our hotel was on time and the driver was really friendly yet professional, telling us a little about the sights as we passed them. The transfer to a larger vehicle was seamless. Alexandra, our guide, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Cannot fault her at all. The only disappointment was that we weren’t allowed longer in the different rooms to reflect and read the information provided. However, I appreciate this is not a Viator issue, more the fact that there are so many visitors and there needs to be an element of “crowd control”. It was a sobering day. Whilst I had already learned of the horrors of camps including Auschwitz and read and seen footage, nothing could prepare me for first hand sight of this horrific place and learning more of the atrocities that occurred. It’s not a trip to “enjoy” obviously, but it will stay with me for ever.
Informative and interesting guide who told the harrowing true facts about the death camp . Constant information and no details left out . Definitely a place to visit with the hope that history will never be repeated
Picked up from our hotel and driven to Auschwitz with 5 other people. Brilliant tour guide who was engaging and passionate about the atrocities that people suffered during the Holocaust. Can highly recommend.
There are so many tours to choose from which can make it difficult to pick without reviews. This tour was so informative and eye opening. The guide had so much knowledge and really had an impact on the group. I would highly recommend this company.
Yesterday we had our trip to Auschwitz 1 and Auschwitz 2- Birkeneau. From pick up to drop off this trip was very professional and organised. We had a drive pick us up from hotel and take us to meeting point, from here he waited with us until bus arrived to take us to Auschwitz. There was only 8 of us on a spacious mini bus which was very clean and comfortable. Our guide Joanna spoke us through the plan for the day and we watched a documentary on the way about Auschwitz. Once we arrived we had 25-35 min break to get snack, toilet and have a look at books. (We found books were actually slightly cheaper at Birkeneau so if you want one wait till this part of the tour.) toilet charge is 2 zlotys so try have change when you come here. There is a snack bar, restaurant and vending machines.
The tour was very informative and guided us through in an orderly and professional way. This was around 1 hour 40 mins. Next we had 15 min toilet break and then headed to Birkeneau on the bus (around 5 min away). This part of the tour lasts 1 hour and we found this to be the most overwhelming part of the tour. We then headed back to Krakow after a 15 min break for snack/toilet. No complaints about this trip and would highly recommend, guide Joanna was very helpful answering questions and we found her to be very passionate in the telling of the history of Auschwitz!
Absolutely amazing trip worth every penny. Tomasz our driver was very friendly, safe driver and Jacues was very knowledgeable. We had the added bonus of another guide who worked for Auschwitz museum. What went on at the Auschwitz and Auschwitz-Birkenau was harrowing and very sad but if you are going to Krakow you should definitely put this trip on your itinerary.
