  • Snorkel among native fish in the warm, clear waters
  • Sail aboard a state-of-the-art catamaran with restrooms and roomy sun decks
  • Includes breakfast and a buffet lunch on board

Why Travelers Choose This Tour

Get up close to Hawaii’s most rugged coastline without sacrificing creature comforts on a deluxe catamaran.
One of the Hawaiian Islands’ most spectacular and inaccessible landscapes, the Na Pali coast stretches along Kauai’s northwestern shore in a dramatic crest of emerald cathedral spires reaching as high as 4,000 feet (1,200 meters) and dotted with sea caves, waterfalls and secluded beaches. A sailing cruise is the perfect way to experience the coastline, as there are no roads that can access it.

Make your way to Port Allen in the morning, where you'll meet your friendly captain and crew and board a 50-foot (15-meter) sailing catamaran equipped with restrooms and spacious sun decks. Enjoy an onboard breakfast and relax on deck as you cruise along the coastline, soaking up magnificent views around every bend. Learn about Na Pali’s sacred place in Kauai’s culture and legends, and look out for passing marine life like spinner dolphins, sea turtles and migrating humpback whales (December through April). If conditions are right, the crew will hoist the sails for an exciting wind-powered ride.

Weather permitting, stop at a calm spot to splash into the crystal-clear waters and snorkel among native fish, turtles and coral gardens. Recharge with a delicious buffet lunch and beverages onboard, and relax on the return journey to Port Allen in the afternoon.

Fun ride to great scenery

Very good experience on holo holo charters boat up the Na Pali, coast. You have to see this incredible coastline for yourself as pictures won’t do it justice. Boat, captain, crew, food and drinks all also great. Only negative weather snorkeling was mediocre at best as there wasn’t much to see. I suspect this is not the fault of the tour but rather what’s available on the coast.still nice to get in the water though.the ride can be bumpy which we loved but if you’re prone to motion sickness be prepared.
Fun trip

Although we neither snorkeled (water too murky from recent rains) or sailed (unfavorable winds), this trip was a good adventure to see the beautiful Na Pali Coast. Captain Ian gave us fair warning of both possibilities beforehand and offered all a chance to get a full refund or reschedule prior to departure. Captain Ian and deck hands Ian and Stephan were terrific and very knowledgeable and helpful, the food was good, the scenery was spectacular, and we saw both spinner and bottlenose dolphins close up.

We saw many dolphins and a couple of whales. The breakfast was hot chocolate , coffee or tea with cinnamon buns and fresh fruit. Lunch was sandwiches and veggies. Lots of soft drinks. Alcohol for adults. We didn't see too many fish snorkeling. The site was nice though. The captain and his co-workers were very informative and made sure everyone had a great time. Tha Na Pali coast is breathtaking!

The crew was very nice and attentive. The Captain said he wasn't sure if we could make it to the Na Pali coast due to potential rough seas but he gave it a good try. Found a school of dolphins and they circled around and stopped for a good long look at them. The crew also pointed out a couple of Whales and made a good attempt to get close. Only advice take Dramamine as you are out for quite a few hours.
