After meeting in a central location in Kathmandu, your Local English-Speaking teacher transfers you by taxi to the Seven Women headquarters for your cooking lesson.

During the cooking lesson, your guide translates for your chef-instructors, who come from the Seven Women social enterprise. Seven Women provides opportunities for marginalized local women to obtain skills training, jobs, and improve their literacy.

Start with a tour of the greenhouse to learn about greenhouse farming. You'll see Nepalese vegetables and other seasonal produce that is often used in the country's cuisine.

Next, dive into some delicious Nepalese recipes that have been passed down through the generations. Your chef-instructors guide you through the preparation of each dish, and show you traditional methods used to cook Nepal’s traditional fare.

When your meal is ready, sit down with your instructors and guide to dine together. Have time to ask questions about the cuisine of Nepal, the Seven Women enterprise, or any other topics that come up.

Your 4-hour cooking class and meal ends with return to your starting point in central Kathmandu.
