3-Day All Inclusive Guided Jungle Tour from Iquitos at Irapay Luxury Resort

Let's start with the good: the rooms were clean, the pool was nice, and the food was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bad part is that you feel like a prisoner. There is no way to leave the resort apart from the set times. Electricity is only on a few hours in the morning and a few hours at night. The rooms get hot and there is no AC and the fan stops working at 11 PM when they turn off the electricity. You are forced to buy their drinks which are overpriced. My recommendation is to bring along some bottled water, sodas, and snacks. Also, there isn't much to do in between excursions apart from swimming. Also, be careful when going to visit the Boras Tribe. I bought some items and the tour guide told me it would be okay to take them but they were confiscated from me at the Iquitos airport.
