Absolutely perfect experience & worth all the cost. The ship is big & spacious, I was lucky to grab a good spot. Just the weather can be quite "flexible", you should bring a hat & a jacket because it will be sunny & quite cold at the same time when the ship is more in the middle.

We were looking forward to this boat tour! We’ve done them in other cities & have enjoyed them…till this one. Part of the package was to include being able to purchase head-sets so that we could hear the tour in English. The man at the gate informed us there were no head-sets to purchase…he actually seemed confused by the notion. I was able to decipher some of what was being said as I am currently learning Deutsch, but I couldn’t exactly tell my husband what was being said because then it would disrupt the group. We couldn’t take any photos because of the water on the windows…and even the dry parts of the windows were streaked to the point that the photos were ruined. We were so happy we only picked the 1 hour tour!

There was no headphones available, and as we don’t speak German we didn’t understand anything being said. Also, we booked a cruise to see different things in Hamburg, but this cruise only focused on the container part.

Important facts at a glance: - Available in Play and Apple Store (search for "Rainer Abicht") - Free download - Language: English (more on the way) - Valid for all Rainer Abicht Elbreederei tours - Please bring headphones or purchase them locally - Ask our team at the entrance for the security code to activate the translator As for the boat ride, we have two different boat rides. One is done with the small boats called BARKASSE, which cross the canals (called FLEETE) of the Speicherstadt, and the ships instead which pass through the container terminals. Your voucher gives you the opportunity to choose between these two possibilities before departure. However, I think that the trip to the container terminals was the right choice, since the canals of the Speicherstadt can also be visited on foot or by car without problems, while the container terminal is only possible by sea. This way you have absolutely seen all the important sightseeing of Hamburg. Best regards,

Too short tour, exactly like a taxi boat but more expensive + no english traduction even if they said so.. it's through their application that doesn't work..so i didn't learn a lot about the port
