This trip was 5 star. Tour guide went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable with extensive historical background about both cities. He took us to all the main highlights in particular to an artisan's workshop for a tour from the owner. He was very patient and helpful as we browsed and shopped. Highly recommend this trip.

The trip was a shopping trip only and never included seeing glassblowing, leather craftsmen and all the other artisans the craft trip was suppose to be. Tlaquepaque is pretty large and I never got to one whole side to see the galleries and shops. It was a bit of a disappointment.

Ricardo was wonderful. Very easy for us to understand. I was a woman touring alone while my husband was working in Guadalajara and he never let me out if his sight. I felt very safe and comfortable. His English was good and he recommended eating places and was very courteous. He was a very good tour guide. My only recommendation is that he have a name badge to identify himself. I was somewhat apprehensive getting in an unmarked vehicle with a stranger. He did know my name and g He approached me at the Hilton. You have to pay attention to the smallest of details and I would have liked an identifiable sign.
