Not worth the time or money!
, Sep 2021
Very unorganized first they said pick up @9:45am but came @9:05, in the morning they give you coffee I had asked if we would stop somewhere to eat they said yes but that was not the case till 3pm! It was boring & they try to give u tequila with no food on your system because they don’t sell it at agave farm. I went to the restroom & got left! I had to call for someone to tell driver to comeback. People were frustrated & hungry most people ended up getting a Uber back. The actual tour was ok, tequila did not have too much stuff to eat just cantaritos. We were supposed to leave at 4 to be back by 5 we didn’t get back till 8. It was a horrible experience waste of time & money not worth it

Tour guide was very funny, made experience more fun. Was very educational and learned a few things about Guadalajara.
Not worth the money

Very short tour, could not understand our guide. We requested a Spanish tour guide and the guide only spoke in English. Got picked up late and drop off point was not clearly communicated. We only visited 1 distillery when there were other tours that went to multiple and for a lot cheaper. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Buy a tour when you get to Tequila OR there are many hotels that offer free tours and take you to Tequila as well.
Very Fun Tour

Amazing tour guide! Berenice did a wonderful job and she was very informative and fun. They were on time and also gave us plenty of time to explore.
Trip you gotta do when in area

The fun vibe with guide Luis and the rest of the group. The agave plants and beautiful scenery. And the festive atmospheres that were at the visitor center of the plant and the town of Tequila itself. And don’t forget the tequila tastings!
Highly Recommend!!!

This is an incredible experience and we would HIGHLY recommend for your visit to Guadalajara. Luis is an exceptional host and guide who will go above and beyond to make your experience one-of-a-kind. He’s an excellent storyteller, highly knowledgeable of Mexican history and the surrounding geography, and is overall a huge pleasure to converse with. We will definitely be booking another tour with Luis when we visit again!

The tour was very informative and our tour guide spoke fluently in both english and spanish! This was helpful because my girlfriends first language is Spanish and mine is English. We really enjoyed seeing Tequila, the agave fields, and learning how tequila is produced. The tequila tasting was also fun!
Tour Guide Made the Day Special
, May 2021
This tour was great from start to finish. I loved our tour guide, Luis, because even though we were a small group he spent extra time with us, giving us some insightful details of Tequila and the other places we visited. Since I was traveling alone he made sure i was never left out and I loved how all the towns people knew him, greeted him by name. This tour was amazing, including the town of Tequila but Luis made it extra special. I hope to return to GDL for another tour and ask for him!

Our guide, Luis, was very knowledgable and proud of his Mexican heritage. Tequila tour was definitely exceptional because of our guide Luis and driver Mario!!!
Informative, interesting, and unforgettable

I got picked up timely at my hotel and was the only one for this Monday morning tour. I was told The Jose Cuervo distillery was closed because of the pandemic so we went to another one that produces Los Tres Toños tequila. Didn't get to try a freshly distilled undiluted one, but it was ok since I was a little hungover😅. Instead I sampled ones out of commercially available bottles and showed how to properly drink and appreciate tequila. Tour guide was very informative and very passionate about the history of just not the drink, but of the town. Instead of a restaurant he recommended the local mercado to eat at. Had some of the best tacos there. They had a lady making fresh tortillas there as well. The tacos were quesa tacos with birria. They have either the traditional goat meat or beef. Delicious! They dip the tortillas in the consomme before frying them with cheese🤤 I'm mad I didn't try a Cantarito while there though. I'm not sure what you get with the tours that are twice the cost, but I was satisfied with this tour.
