Phil, our wonderful guide, Introduced us to the highlights of the Lower Loop of Yellowstone. Besides Old Faithful and several other thermal sites, we visited the beautiful canyon falls, grand old hotels and, of course, lots of animals! Phil knew all the best spots and we enjoyed his informative background information. Seats were comfortable and meals were very good. Many thanks!

This tour gave us the opportunity to see a lot of popular sites in Yellowstone without the inconvenience of finding parking, navigating the huge park, or being caught in crowds. Our guide was very conscious to drop us off near the front of popular sites while he looked for parking. This was all very convenient and worth the cost of the tour, especially considering how busy the park was this summer. Our guide stopped anytime someone in the group wanted to see wildlife, needed to use the restroom, etc. He was very knowledgeable about the park, passionate about his job, and I feel the price of the tour was fair for the length of time and sights seen. The only reason I could not give this tour more stars was because our guide was not astute to the fact that talking about sensitive topics for extended amounts of time may be inappropriate. After finding out the careers of several guests on our bus he continued to bring it up, talk about it, and ask questions all day. This extended to a 10 minute conversation about heroin, yes heroin. After having lost a close friend to this drug, this was the LAST thing I wanted to think or hear about on my vacation. The questions for those guests kept coming from our guide, at one point I wished I had my headphones with me as to avoid all the talk about drugs. I was going to politely ask our guide to maybe leave the topic alone but I never got the opportunity to pull him aside and I truly didn't want to censure anyone or create a problem. One would expect that a tour guide would get to know guests and their lives on a long day together but when it lends itself to potentially sensitive or controversial topics one would also expect that it wouldn't be brought up and talked about continuously. I didn't let it ruin my experience, I tried to just focus on all of the beauty around us but I think its important to note because you never know what other guests have been through or their lives. In my opinion, its best to stick with light conversation and stories/facts about the place you are touring.

Phill our tour guide was here bright and early to pick us up and it was like getting reacquainted with an old friend. He knew all the right spots to see all the sights. The Bison were plentifully and close up. We were able to see three geizers go off and the falls were beautiful. We are very happy that we took the tour, it made the best use of our time allowing us to see everything. It was also nice to have someone with us to answer our questions, which we had many. We had a wonderful day and would recommend the tour for anyone coming to YellowStone.
