Ronda Road Trip

Our driver/guide David was terrific. He was knowledgeable about the history, people and current events related to Andalusia. He had a great sense of humor, kept the day light, was a good driver and very attentive to our needs. Five starts.

Room for Improvement

We enjoyed the Ronda Road trip with Gregor, but there are a few things that would be improved. Gregor needs to work on his stroytelling skills. Good guide weave stories around places and history which engages the traveller and helps them learn more about where they are visiting. Reading the information plaques does not create a sense of excitement and imagination. A guide needs to know the history and the anacdotes that bring the history to life. They need to have a sense of drama and enthusiasm for the history as they tell their stories. It is a long drive with little commentary. The time consumed finding parking and a place for lunch in Ronda also needs to be reduced. Parking and lunch venue need to be organised before the tour. The guide needs to know their way around and have strong recommendations for their clients.
