Make your way to a meeting point in central Granada, where you’ll join a personal guide for entrance into the Alhambra Palace, a magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site. As entrance times to the palace are set, departure time depends on availability, and can be confirmed after booking.

The first stop of the day is the entrance to the Nasrid Palaces, where Moorish rulers once lived and worked. Hear stories about that period of Iberian history as you follow the guide through a series of beautifully resorted rooms, including Comares Palace, the Court of the Myrtiles, the Hall of the Ambassadors, and the Court of the Lions, whose Fountain of Lions has become an important symbol of the Alhambra Palace.

Throughout your tour of the Alhambra Palace, take advantage of the time with a private guide to ask questions, discuss the things that interest you, and learn the secrets behind the remarkable site.

Your next stop is the Renaissance Palace of Charles V, a structure commissioned by the Holy Roman Emperor after re-conquest of the city in the 15th century. From there, continue to the UNESCO-listed Generalife Gardens, among the oldest surviving Moorish gardens in the world, where your private Alhambra tour concludes.

We were very disappointed with the tour...

We were very disappointed with the tour guide provided by Pepe Tours, particularly given the exorbitant price we paid for the tour. Our guide was pleasant enough but clearly had little understanding of the history of the Alhambra or the people that lived there. She took us through each of the rooms of the palace giving a very high level overview of each room and making banal observations that were of little interest. The tour was meant to go for 2.5 hours but was over in 1.5 hours. A real shame as we were very excited to learn about this beautiful and interesting historical site. We would have been better off doing a self guided tour using the pre recorded audio guide.

Jättebra guide som gav oss mycket tid att ställa alla omöjliga frågor. Han hade svar på allt. Inte så mycket folk så inga köer för oss.
