Amazing from start to finish
, Feb 2020
What a great experience, from start to end. We had a "private" tour with just our group of four led by Gerry. All three restaurants were amazing, with different tastes and atmospheres at each. We especially loved the last stop, where we made our own Irish coffees to accompany dessert! I simply cannot recommend this tour enough, what a great start to our trip!

We are delighted that you had a great experience with us in Galway. Than you for recommending our tour, we can't wait to tell Gerry how much you enjoyed his company. Come join us in Dublin next time you are over this way!

Hi Brittany, Thank you for your amazing review. Galway is a city bustling with culture, history, food & drink and we are delighted that you enjoyed every aspect of the tour. Please do come back and visit in the future. All the best, Ciaran.
Guide was great, food was so so

I was seeking a more diverse experience of small plates at 4-5 stops. We’ve done them in other cities and have found them to be a good intro to a food scene. This one wasn’t like that. We had one stop with a small plate of sea bass, then a very long wait for a sort of main course of either seafood or shephard’s pie or a vegetarian burger. Last stop was a dessert and Irish coffee. While we enjoyed info from our guide, Jerry, we would have rather eaten on our own then taken a separate walking tour.

Thanks for taking the time to review your tour, we take all feedback very seriously however it is a pity that you did not read the tour description before joining us as we clearly state that our tour is an in dining experience which takes in three stops, three courses and a beer paining at each venue with a walking tour of the city between venues. We are delighted that you enjoyed your time with Jerry but we regret that you didn't do some more research before booking your tour.
More than food and drink

Good combination of history, architecture, and of course food on the way. Galway is a lovely city, must see when in Ireland.

Great way to get to know Galway

We were lucky to have Laura as our tour guide on our recent trip to Galway. She shared her knowledge of the city and it's fantastic food. We stopped at 3 pubs - one for apps, one for dinner and the last for dessert. Laura shared a lot of great information on the Art festival and the food and culture. If going to Galway, I would make this a must do tour. We met 2 great couples and spent the evening in relaxed and friendly settings!

My friend and I met Laura our host for the event. She made this experience a blast for us with her personality and knowledge of the area as she took us through the walking tour. The particular places we ate at were incredible. Not only the beauty of each place but the food they served also. I would highly recommend this food tour to anyone who wants to visit Galway. Well worth every euro!!

John Byrne was our guide and we happily said if he was ever in NY, we’d gladly put him up. What a great guy. The tour was fabulous and filling. You can’t go wrong spending a few hours with this wonderful young man.

Thanks so much for your great review, we will make sure John knows where he is going on holidays next year ;)
Not the most cultural of experiences!
, Jul 2019
A pretty disappointing experience as tours go, not hugely informative and some of the choices of venues were strange to say the least. The second place was a newly opened restaurant/bar, not the most traditional of venues in a town full of good traditional Irish bars. It is so overpriced that the experience is bordering on laughable. I would expect to pay €30 for what we got. On the plus side, the food is good, can't complain about that but the experience just wasn't. I would be pretty confident I could do a better job myself.

Hi Niall, Thanks so much for your review, we take all feedback very very seriously and we are extremely disappointed with your feedback. We would love if you would contact us directly so we learn what went wrong for you in more detail. We work extremely hard to make sure that our customers get the full experience of the food revolution taking place in Ireland and that usually means mixing the more traditional with the new and emerging flavors and venues of Galway. We look forward to hearing from you.
Loved it

Really great way to meet new people and discover the ins and outs about the city. Our guide was great and knew a lot of interesting facts and stories about the city.
