Definitely nature wonder of the world

The beauty of the falls just leaves you speechless. If you are physically fit enough the boat ride is a must. But there 150 steps if not more to go up and down the dock yard. Plan 2 days to do Brazilian and Argentinian sides. As well lower and upper circuit are very different so if possible do both. If you do the boat tour you will only visit one circuit.
Wonderful day trip on Argentina side of the iguazu fall

The entire trip is packed with events. We did upper trail to get close to several waterfalls. The boat ride is an experience by itself as it took us into two waterfalls. The final act is taking a train ride to the devil’s throat. They said the water flow is only 1/3 of normal as Brazil is experiencing 7 months of drought but the devil’s throat is still very impressive. Couldn’t imagine what it looks like with 3x of water flow. Iguazu fall is simply a must see place.
Beautiful views of waterfalls on Argentine side

Excellent trip with a great guide. We lost 1 1/2 hours of our day as there was a long delay collecting people from the Brazilian border - not their fault, but it did mean our trip was a little hurried. We walked the upper and lower tracks after a short train ride - the first to the Devils Throat was jam packed with people, so it's a real fight to get good photos, and you don't have much time to take it all in before heading back to your guide. The second walk was a lot less crowded for some reason, so much more pleasant. The falls themselves are awesome, an amazing sight, even though the weather on our trip was not great grey, then later - thunderstorms and lightning!.
Lunch was fine and reasonably good value - you get some choices fast food or restaurant etc.... We chose the restaurant, which was a large buffet with fresh BBQ meat and slads, then dessert - heaps of food and you can buy wine etc. Also plenty for vegetarians to eat.
We then went in an open topped truck to meet the boat ride. By now it was pouring down so everyone got soaked on the way. The boat ride is nothing short of awesome! About 20 minues up the river in large open topped boats through some small rapids then maybe 15- 20 minutes at the falls - first just having a bit of a look and then going right up to them - almost under them! these falls drop 80 metres so the power of the water spray and the noise was incredible they give you dry bags for your stuff. Everyone was screaming and laughing and getting seriously wet, it was so much fun!!! The guide was taking a go-pro video of us all but we missed where to buy it, in the rush to get back to the truck and to the park exit so we could get out of our wet clothes, as we were getting cold by now. The truck ride back was with a guide explaining a lot about the park and the wildlife etc in english and spanish, although sometimes a little hard to hear.
We were then dropped back to our hotel, although the guide was a bit late meeting us at the exit of the park maybe 10 minutes.
In short this is a fantastic tour. YOU WILL GET VERY WET! They recommend a change of clothes which we did take, however there are no changing facilities, just the toilets so be prepared for that. if you're not into getting changed then I recommend some clothes more suitable - I had jeans and a cotton t-shirt on and I was getting pretty cold by the end, wool or polyproylene would be a better choice.
Apart form a few small delays the tour company was professional - they confirmed hotel pick-ups the night before as promised, and if it wasn't for the border issues i am confident they'd have been on time.
The cost was about NZ170 for the day, lunch was extra, as were the park fees 600 pesos each. I'm sure you could do it for less if you got yourselves there, and bought each section yourself, but it's a big park and for us this was a way more convenient way yo do it as we only had one day.
Thoroughly recommend it!

We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.

Sorting, ranking, and search results
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.
On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.
You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted.
If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period.
The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
