This full-day adventure to paradise begins with an early morning Miami Beach or downtown Miami hotel pickup. A state-of-the-art motor coach will provide transportation to the Port Fort Lauderdale. Then climb aboard a ferry, complete with casino slot machines, a full bar, and a duty-free gift shop, for a relaxing journey to Freeport, Grand Bahama, one of the most popular islands in the Bahamas.

Upon arrival in Freeport, find transportation (like the beach shuttle or taxi) to the beach, located about four miles from the port. Soak up the Bahamian sun on the white-sand beaches, rent a Jet Ski, or go swimming with the pigs at Crystal Beach, just to name a few options.

Then visit the neighboring Port Lucaya Marketplace, a vibrant, open-air shopping hub overlooking the waterfront. See one of the largest straw markets in the Bahamas, plus duty-free and handcrafted items galore. Also, don't miss Retail Street for jewelry and souvenirs.

Hungry? Savor the local flavors at any of the island’s cafes or restaurants. There’s something for everyone.

Afterwards, return to the ferry for the voyage back to Florida and a Miami-area hotel drop-off.

No pick up

I didnt even go. Tried to call a few days after booking to set up a pick up time and location. Told to wait until the day before which was odd to start. Called the day before to schedule pick up and was told I would have to get to fort Lauderdale myself no pick up. Asked for a refund but because it was less than 24 hours now because of just finding out the day before so told no. Would rate this a zero if I could. I would recomend taking this off your site. Makes you look bad to offer from a company like this

Absolutely disappointing and borderline fraudulent.

I am completely disappointed at the lack of hospitality, communication, organization, and class this website and the local tour operators have demonstrated.

Mario, we are very sorry that you missed our pick-up on July 13 and were unable to join the tour. We did offer you out of courtesy to take the tour the next day but we never heard back from you.

terrible organization

The trip was split into three parts that didn't seem to communicate to each other. We paid for the cheaper trip that didn't include the "swim with pigs" but claimed to have all inclusive. First we were transported to the port via bus, received multiple paper bracelets without knowing what they were for. None of the people that brought us there joined us on the ferry trip, so we were "delivered" to completely different crew. Then there were two barely understandable broadcasts made on the ferry which told us that we had to get our tickets from a little kiosk on the ship. These in turn were used by another travel company to determine which beach we paid for and we got transported there by bus. The bus then just dropped us off and returned four hours later, leaving us at a beach that had two "tourist attractions"; a restaurant and a little resort that you have to pay additional 5$ for. Since we came from the US, we didn't have any cash with us and thus were unable to pay the entrance fee, even though we wanted to. There was no ATM at the whole beach and the restaurant, while accepting credit card payment, refused to let us "buy cash" from them. So we were stranded at a beach, ate in the restaurant and waited for the bus to pick us up again. There was no personnel from the travel agency that felt responsible for the whole thing. I cannot recommend this trip by any means.

We are so sorry you decided not to join us for the Pig Beach visit or the free trip including beach day pass at Lucaya. You are absolutely right that credit card payments in the Bahamas are not as common as in the US. It's always a good idea to bring some extra cash to the Bahamas. Thanks so much for the feedback.

Not worth it!!! It was highly expensive. First I had to pay for the trip with the boat about 153 Euros. Then I had to pay again 65 for the trip to the beach with the pigs. You even dont get a free glas of water at the beach. The photo shown with the pigs is not the beach where we were taken. I would not recommend it.

Just don’t do it. You’llwais You time. Stay in Miami and enjoy your day. Early wake up, 3.5 hours to and 3.5 hrs in the ferry plus shuttle, transportation. You’ll spend 10 hours in transit to stay only a couple of hours at a beach. Plus you will have to pay to enter a beach. Think twice.

The boat VIP seats, snack and the Paradise cove experience was exiting and unique. The bad part was the duty free closed on Sunday, so I was not able to purchase the beach towel I wanted.

Took longer than expected, wasn't really organised at all. Where the bus stops, walk 10 mins to a free beach, otherwise you may be asked to pay

Not a lot to see when get there. A very long day. No quick cat boat trip is offered. It is all ferry now and takes over 3 hours for the trip. There is no outside seating on the ferry. Can only stand out the back, then you get fumes from the ferry engines. Only a small community with shops geared for the tourist only and expensive. Also 20 minute bus ride from port to the town centre which cost extra 10. Could spend your day better elsewhere.
