Why Travelers Choose This Tour
This top-rated Tuscany tour features the option to skip the long line at Pisa’s Leaning Tower.
Board your coach in Florence, and travel into the hills of Tuscany where the city of Siena awaits. Opt to take a guided tour of the city with a visit to Siena Cathedral to admire its renowned Gothic architecture. Or, make the most of some free time to set your own pace, and perhaps enjoy a coffee in the sun alongside the locals.
From Siena, return to the Tuscan countryside to explore the Chianti wine region. Stretch your legs with a stroll through a vineyard, olive grove and wine cellar, and refuel with a Tuscan winery lunch. As you sit surrounded by the grape vines, meet other visitors to the area and indulge in local treats such as cold cuts of meat, salad, pasta and fresh bread. Even better, a wine tasting takes place at the same time. (If the tour option without lunch is chosen, this part of the tour is not included but there will be more time spent in San Gimignano).
After lunch, journey onward to San Gimignano with its medieval towers, cobbled streets and squares. Explore the town’s historic center, cool down with a refreshing gelato and wander amid the 14 towers as you learn about their history.
Travel from San Gimignano to Pisa: your final stop of the day. Follow your guide to Cathedral Square to discover Pisa Duomo, Pisa Baptistry, the monumental cemetery (aka Camposanto) and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Return to Florence in the early evening, and finish your Tuscany tour with a drop-off at the start point.
Stazione di Firenze Santa Maria Novella
Your guide will be holding a sign at the taxi stand right outside Santa Maria Novella train station
An organic family-run wine estate – the highlight of the day! Visit the farm, enjoy an informal wine tasting lesson and a traditional Tuscan lunch with plenty of wine, in the most gorgeous location overlooking stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Take the opportunity to meet fellow travelers while feasting on fresh organic farm food of homemade pasta, cured meats (homemade prosciutto and salami), local cheeses, a real garden salad, and Tuscan biscotti.

Terrific Time in Tuscany
, May 2020
It is May 2020 and I am reflecting on the wonderful experiences of 2019 and this is by far one of those experiences. This was my first trip to Italy with friends and we booked this awesome excursion. From the beginning to the end it was a wonderful experience. We had an American tour guide and she was exceptional. The scenic ride there and back, the history lesson by the professor, the sights, the lovely vineyard and the palette pleasing lunch. I found the prized two items that I longed for (Italian purse and par fume). The surprise for us all was visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The people on our trip were pleasant and our driver was awesome. I would highly recommend this ALL DAY trip.
I bought this package and the website stated that it included the Pisa tower which I have the screen shot and I showed the tour “walkabout Florence” that day and they told me Viator website made a mistake and I need to pay 30 euros per person more if I want to go into the tower. Both me and my husband are not on their list to go into the tower. I showed them my voucher and they stated they are not responsible for what Viator put on the website and when I called Viator they told me they are just “broker” and only display information what the local tour groups tell them. Either way, me and my husband were both denied entrance into the tower. Talked with the local tour, no success. Called Viator, they refused to help. My first time using Viator, not sure I’ll use them again if the information is not truthfully displayed and the customer service refused to refund us.
Wonderful day trip in the Tuscan countryside - highly recommend!

Christian (with an "H"!) was our tour guide on this day trip, and he was fantastic! He was so sweet, funny, informative, and engaging. We absolutely loved our day trip. The tour of Siena was very interesting and informative, our lunch in Chianti was delicious, peaceful, and beautiful (and filling!), and the stops in San Giminiano and Pisa were the perfect amount of time to capture photos and get a taste of the local sights and culture. It was perfectly planned and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Highly recommend this if you want to get a taste of the Tuscan countryside and are short on time. Wish we could have stayed for longer! Thank you Christian (and Antonio, our driver)!
Lunch was amazing. With seconds and delicious wine. Good trip. Long but we saw a lot. Our tour guide was excellent and well informed. Enjoyed this the most. Seeing Pisa at sunset amazing and such few people.
Perfect Introduction to Tuscany - it will make you want to return!

If you don't have many days in Tuscany this tour is a fantastic way to learn about the region and experience some real highlights of the area. Every part of the tour was different but every stop was interesting, educational and entertaining. Sienna with it's incredible church was truly a gem of a town; the farm lunch was delicious and the views were amazing; we felt transported back to the Renaissance in beautiful San Gimignano; and of course the Leaning Tower of Pisa was amazing. Our tour guide Elisa and our driver Emilio were both wonderful. Elisa was warm and funny and provided just the right amount of history and background to be interesting but not overwhelming. I would highly recommend this tour.
This tour was amazing. Beautiful views with delicious food and wine that complimented the historical background of the beautiful Tuscany areas. The day was jam packed with great stuff: Siena, The Farm(where we got fed an amazing authentic Italian meal including wine) with gorgeous views, San Gimignano, and finished the evening at the leaning tower of Pisa. Climbing up the tower of Pisa was totally worth the effort to enjoy the breathtaking views from the top. Our tour lead was Alessandro, bus driver was Antonio, and the guide in Siena was Analisa- Rock Star team! They were all fabulous and great at what they do. The team seemed very passionate and friendly making the people on the tour feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you for an amazing day in the beautiful Tuscany countryside!!
Our tour guide Elisaaaaa was just amazing, she was very thorough with historical events that took place in different areas we visited. She even told us where to get the best gelato and which flavor to try (so delicious). Thank you so much Elisaa, you did a great great job. I will let everyone know about this tour, and I would do it for sure. Last, we had a very good lunch, the food was very delicious :-)
