Your Tuscan cooking class will begin in central Florence, where you’ll join up with your small group near Piazza Santa Trinita. Follow your instructor across the Arno River where the cooking school is located.

Soak up the views of the iconic Ponte Vecchio as you cross the Arno before making your way into the modern kitchen. Tie on your provided apron, roll up your sleeves and get to work with the guidance of an expert chef. The menu tends to vary but typically comprises chicken stew, potato gnocchi and a dessert, such as the popular tiramisu. (A sample menu can be found in the Itinerary section below.) Hear about Tuscan culinary techniques and traditions as you prep and cook your meal.

Afterward, reap the benefits of all your hard work! Seated around your fellow chefs, enjoy your creations with a glass of local wine.

Once your stomach and taste buds have been sated, your Tuscan cooking class will conclude. You’ll leave with a recipe booklet so you can recreate your dishes back home.

Worth Your Time & Money

First let me say the experience was very good. I've been to several in the states. This was my first abroad. The actual class and chef were excellent. Cleanliness was excellent. Instructions were clear and fun. The chef even went so far to whip up Gluten free gnocchi at the last minute for my wife. Which by the way were pillows of heaven and if I may be so bold to say I am an authority on at least eating them, as I order it just about any opportunity I have. Sorry I digressed. The chef even gave us the recipe. Some small nits I do have about the class, but shouldn't stop you from going as the value for the money is well spent, IMHO. Expect to wait on a small corner when you meet up for the class. The operators should find a better initial location. The other is lighting. The kitchen lighting is spot on. Where you dine and get initial instruction before going into the kitchen is however poorly lit. The lighting is sterile cold blue LED. The artwork doesn't help as what is currently displayed is bold black brush strokes. Tables and chairs were functional but did not improve the experience. Correct these and the experience would have been outstanding.
Wonderful experience!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Florence. Walter, our chef, was engaging and funny while teaching us how to make our meal. It was very educational as far as cooking goes. In the end, we were very impressed with ourselves . . . the food was delicious! We are now inspired to get our own pasta machine - who knew making pasta could be so simple? We also met some great people and enjoyed their company throughout the experience. I highly recommend this Tuscan cooking class to anyone visiting Florence. It is money well spent and you won't be disappointed.

Cooking class in Florence

Was a great experience! We learned many skills and had the opportunity to make several recipes. Dinner was very good afterwards. Only issue we had was the food was not very hot when served.
A must do in Florence!

Awesome class and the food and wine were great as well. Making the pasta from scratch was really fun and informative! You prepare a full dinner with Desert.

We didn’t love this tour like we did most of our other events. The class did not provide wine until the end (which is not what we imagined). The food we made was not very good either. This is a “skip” for us next time.
Delicious Food and Fun Atmosphere
, Aug 2019
I attended the Tuscan Cooking class with my 18 year old daughter and came home with some great recipes. Our chef was very knowledgeable and fun to work with and the food was fabulous! We made a chicken dish that I have made multiple times for my family since returning. We also made gnocchi, pesto, red sauce and a desert. All were wonderful. I highly recommend.

Too late to find the place
, Aug 2019
Was our fault we missed the class. With all the traveling and itinerary logistics thought the class was the next day. We did get a confirmation call or more like “where are you?” call about 10 minutes before the class was to start but it was too late as we were on the other side of an unfamiliar city. Of course there was t any refund. We lost over $500.

Fun class

Enjoyed our time in the class, made a good meal, and enjoyed it with some friendly people. Instructors(Luca) were fun to work with and convinced us we were actually good cooks.
Must Try When in Florence

I’m not the best cook so I was a little hesitant, but the class was tons of fun. I definitely plan on using the recipes they gave us. We did this as part of our honeymoon and I would absolutely recommend it to others.

It was tucked into a tiny little building on the north end of town. The company was running 3 classes at once, it was so noisy that we couldn't understand our instructor and he ended up doing about 1/2 of the prep work for us.... There simply was too much going on there for it to be fun, educational, or enjoyable. The idea sounded good, but just wasn't done well especially given the price.
