You will get hands-on Italian kitchen experience!
    , Jun 2022
We took advantage of arranging for a driver to pick us up in Florence and that was well worth the 70 Euros. It felt like a long day at the castle, however. We were picked up at 2:30 p.m. The event started at 3:30 p.m. with a winery tour. It was incredibly hot in Florence that day, and the tour started on a back patio overlooking the countryside. While pretty, we were all melting. It would have been nice if we had been offered water, or even wine, right at the very start. Then we went into the wine cellars to hear about the history of the place and the wine production. All of that lasted an hour. The whole time we were standing and listening. Then we went into the kitchen, where it was hot and there were no fans. There were 15 people in the group with me and my husband. Again, an offer of water would have been nice. We stood around for the next two hours cooking dinner. Stools would have been helpful for us to sit on while various volunteers, plucked from the group by jovial Chef Jeremy, helped cook the meal. We made pasta, chicken, potatoes and cake. The cooking was really fun and informative. Every single person in our group, which included several kids, got a chance to do some part of the meal - rolling pasta, cutting pasta, stirring the chicken, cracking the eggs, etc. Finally, we sat in a nice, big dining area and tasted 4 wines and ate our delicious meal. It was delicious! We got back to our hotel at 8:30 p.m.
A must do when in Florence!

This tour was even better than advertised - the grounds and castle are stunning and the people wonderful! Chef Jerry, the Sommalier, and owners went out of their way to make this a memorable experience and the found and wine were outstanding!
Excellent experience! Highlight of our vacation.!

Absolutely wonderful experience! We have 4 teens and we all enjoyed the experience thoroughly. The tour, cooking class and tasting as well as atmosphere were excellent. The chef made the cooking class so enjoyable for everyone and all in our group were able to participate in the cooking process. We did have quite a few laughs! The sommelier was very knowledgeable and we had to take some wine and oil home with us!The drive was lovely and the company arranged transport for us at an additional charge which was super helpful for a party of 6. Absolutely recommend this tour for couples and families with teens! We will be back for sure!

The tour and the history of the castle was very interesting. The cooking experience being tutored by a master chef was amazing we all had the opportunity to help prepare the food and got to eat it afterwards. The chef taught us so much giving personal tips etc. We also got the opportunity to taste 5 different wines 🍷 😋 following dinner .The whole experience was excellent I would definitely recommend the tour.
Best tour we booked in Italy!

This was one of the best tours I have ever done, period. We spent two weeks in Italy, touring several different cities Ans experiences but this was by far our favorite. The chef, Gerry was incredibly personable and kept us engaged through the day. The food turned out phenomenal and we can’t wait to go home and show off our new pasta skills. The wine was lovely as well! Thank you to all the staff who were so kind to us!
Marvelous Tuscan cooking class and wine tasting

Memorable & marvelous experience in a beautiful castle surrounded by vineyards and Italian beauty. A must for food and wine lovers.
    Romantic, memorable afternoon
    , Apr 2022
This was one of our favorite tours. The staff at the castle were so welcoming & we had a great tour. The cooking class was more thorough than I anticipated, including making pasta from scratch. The chef was so much fun, very personable. We then enjoyed the final dinner in a beautiful room, by a fireplace, with view of the property. Very romantic. We had some of their amazing wine shipped back to U.S. I highly recommend this tour!
Such a fun and delicious experience.

Really fun experience. The wine tour was great to fully appreciate the castle and the history as well as the family’s passion for wine making. And the cooking lesson was so much fun. The chef had great character and really represented the best of Italian culture (food making, in my opinion). We enjoyed a great feast from our cooking and met great people for good company in an intimate setting. Highly recommend this tour.
    Fantastic tour

We went to the winery for the pasta-making class which was outstanding. The chef really took a lot of time with us and explained the dos and don'ts of pasta and sauce making. We also liked the wine so much we ordered some bottles to be shipped home to NJ. Please make sure you sign up for both the wine tasting and class it was well worth it.

The one thing my husband & I wanted to do while in Italy was take a cooking class that was something more than make pizza. I am so glad that we signed up for this experience. There was excellent communication from the hospitality manager, coordinating food restrictions, travel details to the property and anything else that might be needed. As soon as we were picked up, we were treated more like old friends than tourists. Our host Lorenzo was educational. charming, and fun. His knowledge of the estate and the Chianti region is vast and he is able to share it in an easygoing manner. It is so obvious that he loves what he is doing, you will be in very good hands with him. After a tour of the castle and wine cellars, we were taken into the kitchen to begin our cooking class. I consider myself to be fairly good in the kitchen and learned so much while we were there. The cooking experience was very hands on, with everyone involved in various steps of making your dinner for the night. Once we were finished, Lorenzo took us back into the dining room of the castle to enjoy our meal and to sample wine pairings with each course. The wine is outstanding and works perfectly with each course. Lorenzo gave us short tutorials on each of the wines through out the evening and at the end of the night took us into the shop to be able to purchase wine and olive oil. (their olive oil is like nothing you have ever tasted or smelled. If you do nothing else, take home a few bottles of this) The only bad part was that the evening had to end. We would repeat this experience again whenever we make it back to Florence. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip.

Fun time in the Castle Kitchen
    , Dec 2019
Costanza was a great tour guide and host. We started with a tour of the castle including the wine cellar and the olive oil cellar. They showed us how they make their wine and their olive oil using terra cotta pots. After the castle tour we had our cooking class in the castle kitchen. Jerry was the chef that taught us how to make Crostino with Olives, vegetarian sauce with homemade pasta, Chicken with Vin Santo, and Florentine cake. It was a fun time with everyone getting involved with making the meal. Jerry was patient as he taught us how to make everything and used the largest rolling pin we have every seen to make the pasta. We had wine tasting that went with the meal we made. The food was great and tasty.

    Unforgettable Experience!!!
    , Nov 2019
While visiting Florence, IT, my husband & I had the pleasure of touring & taking a cooking class, complete with wine tasting, at Castello del Trebbio. What an unforgettable experience at this Beautiful destination! Set in the most picturesque Tuscan countryside, the castle, vineyards and winery look like something out of a movie! The staff are amazing, and they even arranged for transportation from and back to our hotel in Florence! Noemi, Jeremy and Constanza all took perfect care to ensure we had a delightful, romantic and memorable experience at this special venue, and we will never forget it! The food (which we prepared, with Jeremy's help) and wine (tailored to our 4 course meal) were nothing short of Amazing, and we are so grateful for this opportunity...If we could give it 10 stars, we would!!! We are looking forward to reliving this adventure at home once our wine & olive oil is shipped home (since we received aprons & recipe booklets from our cooking class)! ;D We can only hope to visit again some day...Grazie' per Tutti!!!
Tuscan Castle and Cellars Small Group Tour and Cooking Class and 3 Course Lunch with Wine Pairings
    , Nov 2019
This was one of the best events we did when in Tuscany. The cooking class was fabulous with Chef Jeff. Learned so much about pasta making and other cooking tips. The 3 course lunch and wine pairings were delicious!! There were only 8 people - so a perfect size for the cooking class and to enjoy lunch together. We will for surely do this again when we visit Tuscany!
