Too much to see too little time

It was a lovely daytrip but exhausting. If you are not used to walking this is not for you. Our guide Giuilio made our trip fun, interesting and gave us an overview of the Tuscan country side. The downsider was long walking one does to the cities you visit where you are dropped off quite a distance from the entrance and herded off to the gates. This drains you before your visit. Another thing I did not like was having lunch at 12 and then being expected to walk to Gimigiano and explore when all you want to do after a big lunch is relax. I would've preferred to lunch after our visit to Gimigiano for then we would have the long bus drive to Pisa where we could relax.
This was a wonderful day: well worth it. Dario, our host was pleasant and helpful in providing us with food and wine recommendations. Totally recommend a bus to visit these three special places: convenient and comfortable.
Overall, the tour was very good. I didn't grade it excellent because of a few things. First, the Bus Terminal is hard to find. You have to given yourself time before the meeting time because the meeting place was far from the train station-you have to ask for directions where to go. Another thing I didn't like was the light lunch at San Gimignano. I know it said light lunch but I thought there was bruschetta. No bruschetta was served. All we had were small pieces (2-3) of thinly sliced Tuscan meat, bread and a few salad plus pasta and wine. I was impressed though with the tour guide in Siena (Camila). She was very knowledgeable and very passionate about the history and culture of her place and her English was good-I could actually understand it pretty good. Our last stop was in Pisa-the attractions are beside each other so you can go on your own without needing a tourist guide.
Our tourist guide (Elena) was very nice and had a very good sense of humor. I recommend this tour especially to those who has not been to the Tuscan region of Italy.
Had a great experience! Our host, Elena was super friendly and knowledgeable. She showed us around the towns and suggested some of the lesser crowded spots. She was very patient throughout the long day, keeping us on schedule. The hosts were thoughtful in arranging vegetarian meals for us. Would be even better if there were halal options.
Would definitely recommend this if you’re keen to explore Tuscany region in a day.
Our tour guide, Julio was so amazing! He made sure that we had the chance to enjoy every location that we stopped at while giving helpful feedback for places we can stop by. The places on the tour itself were absolutley beautiful. Would definetly recommend.
Pictures of Tuscany dEfinitely draw you to it. Being there places you in the midst of its beauty. Helena was a very fun and informative tour guide. We loved this particular 12-hour tour. Lunch and wine tastings more than met our expectations.
All in all it was ok , a bit of a rush through San Gimignano . At lunch antipasto was good, wines were great, lasagna awful. We were told by the guide that we were going to have spaghetti bolognese and instead had an average lasagna with bechamel sauce.
Thanks for leaving your feedback, we feel very sorry to know that this has compromised your entire tour.
The thing is that the pasta dish, depending on what is freshest on the day in question, might be subject to change.
Lasagna is homemade so as the pasta used for the ragu sauce and we have never received a complaint about its quality and taste, we will take your opinion into consideration.
The tour leader got confused, we apologize.
