AMAZING- INCREDIBLE- TOP NOTCH.... I have SO much to say about this tour that won't fit on this review. I had an AMAZING time learning about Italian Wines. REALLY great way to spend my first full day in Florence!!!! I was worried it would be difficult to get to the meeting place... but it WASN'T. Easy ride on the tram like the directions say :)

Liked the tour of two small towns and the tour of the winery was awesome. The trip was sold as a trip to 2 wineries so we we're a little dissappointed that we only visited one winery.

Do NOT do this in the winter

Advertised as 2 wine tastings. Only did 1 with no upfront explanation. Turns out the second one is closed right now. They "took" us to a restaurant instead, which was just a tiny cafe in Castellina. Also advertised this as going to Monteriggioni. But we went to Castellina instead, with no explanation whatsoever. We got to Castellina after sunset so there was nothing to see. If it's a pretty village, we couldn't tell. Not worth the time it took. You'd be better off choosing a different tour or renting a car and driving somewhere earlier in the day. The one wine tasting was nice though. We ended up getting a $20 partial refund for two people. Still paid more than I feel the experience was worth.

WONDERFUL!!!

Alberto was an absolutely fantastic guide on our trip through Tuscany and was extremely knowledgable about the wine making process and the wines themselves! He was incredibly helpful even at the end of the tour making sure all participants had safe travel home and knew how to use the rail system (and there were a LOT of us!!!). We toured the medieval village Alberto likes to take people to (as it is not well known) in the evening which was beautiful around new years due to all the Christmas lights. I would DEFINITELY recommend this tour as it is the perfect blend of wine and culture.

Tour guides provided no commentary. Bus AC hardly worked. We got back 1+ hrs late. I would not recommend

Chianti Half Day Wine Tour

This was a good tour but the group was incredibly large. Due to the sheer size of the group (approx 75 people) it was difficult to have a meaningful connection/experience with both the tour guides and the winery hosts. The wait for everyone to receive wine - comparably smaller compared to other wine tours - was longer than others as well. While not bad, it was not the best tour we had during our stay in Italy.

Great quick tour and a fantastic and enthusiastic guide. Do wish we had more than 30 minutes in Monteriggioni though.

The wine tour was so much fun. I loved that we got to visit two very different wineries. The tour guides made sure we had great experience. Also, the excursion at the castle was amazing. I was a little skeptical at first but it was so fun to grab a glass of wine and walk around. Would highly recommend this tour.
