What an adventure! I loved kayaking through the mangrove trees. Such natural beauty. I loved that it wasn’t easy but so worth it. I loved the bioluminescence. I wish we could have stayed longer. Going back down the river in the dark was eerily cool and the whole experience is something I’ll never forget.

Wesley and Michael were funny, kind and very engaging. The trip out to the bay was an easy paddle. Once on the bay we learned about the plankton and why it glowed. The tour guides answered any questions we had.

Very nice excursion. The staff is friendly and the bay is beautiful. We had to cover ourselves with a tarp to see the bioluminescent Critters, but it was still magical.

Funny, engaging knowledgeable guides. Beautiful relaxing paddle through the mangroves. And they enabled us to see the bioluminescence even at a nearly full moon. Highly recommend. It was a very cool to start off our trip to Puerto Rico

Go on the later tour departure

Our guide Was great but we went on the 6;30pm which in my option was too early to see the glowing water. They put a tarp over our head to block the light and see the water. This felt unsafe to us during a pandemic. Wished we had gone on the later departure as the experience would have been better all around.

A tour you won't regret!

Awesome experince. We visited on the 6th day of the new moon, 6:30 tour. There were 3 boats, 6 people in our tour so we got personal attention. We had a knowledgeable friendly guide Wesley who regaled us with intersting facts and entertaining stories. The water was warm, we had to wade in to our knees to get in and out of the kayak and it was wettish in the kayak from the paddeling, but not too bad. Paddeling through the canals among mangroves was a nice experience. We then arrived in the big bay and relaxed through sunset and the darkening skies while our guide talked to us. When it got darker we pushed the kayaks together and unfolded a tarp over our heads. We were then able to splash around the water and observe the sparkling plankton which looked like fireflies or fireworks. It was fascinating but not like the pictures online; that happens apparently only when conditions are just right- like on a moonless hot night. Kayaking back in the pitch darkness was an awesome adventure. I highly recommend this tour with this friendly, well-run company!!!

Good tour but wrong meetup address

The tour is very interesting and the guides were very good. However, the meetup location and the arrival time that was given to me were both incorrect and I almost missed the tour because of that.
