Returns to original departure point
Make your way to the meeting point on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile to meet your guide. Traveling aboard an air-conditioned coach, head west into the Scottish countryside to discover the dramatic scenery that served as the backdrop to the Outlander TV series.

Stop to enjoy views of Linlithgow Palace en-route to the first destination—Doune Castle, which doubles up as Castle Leoch on-screen. Then, continue to the county of Fife to see the village of Culross, better known as ‘Cranesmuir’, the village where Claire was accused of witchcraft.

After lunch (own expense), spend time exploring Falkland, where the show’s Inverness scenes were shot, before continuing to other key Outlander sites, including Aberdour.

After an Outlander-inspired day, return to Edinburgh, where your tour ends back on the Royal Mile.

Outlander Day

What a great day. Caitlin our guide was so enthusiastic which made the stories and the drive between towns enjoyable. I would recommend this tour to any Outlander fan. Sadly we are still with Covid19 could not get into some places. But thoroughly enjoyed. Especially our photos we were able to take at Lallybrook with " Jamie " a tall cut out sat shotgun on the coach all day of course wearing a mask

Hi Susan, Thanks for the great review and i'm glad you enjoyed your tour with Caitlin! I'm sorry some of the places were shut due to Covid restrictions however it's great to hear you enjoyed yourself despite this! I'm glad you enjoyed having Jamie on board with you too, he always manages to grab the front seat but at least you got to see him at stops!Best, Tom

A great day

This tour went to all the highlights from the show. It was such fun to see the locales of our hero and heroine. I would have preferred to listen to the driver's historical commentary and/or filming tidbits instead of his personal playlist, but to each his/her own. I also felt the group size was a bit large.

I enjoyed the tour very much. It is just a shame that we could not have had more time at some of the stops but I understand. The bus was comfortable and the driver, Duncan very friendly and knowledgeable. I referred someone else to the tour but it was already full.

This was a fabulous tour that we would definitely take again! My only complaint is that one stop that was listed here was not made on the actual tour.

Everything about the Outlander tour was more than I'd expected. Tom, our driver/guide, was so entertaining and knowledgeable, and kept everything interesting during drive time between locations. Every Outlander location was wonderful, but the two that really touched me most were "Castle Leoch and "Lallybroch" Amazing!
