I can’t think of a better way to see the Highlands of Scotland in a day! This trip covers both national parks (Trossachs and Cairngorms), Glencoe, Loch Ness, and a few other stops along the way for well-timed breaks to stretch your legs or grab a snack/coffee. The entire drive through the Highlands was stunning, and Graham (our tour guide) provided insightful information about the history and geography of the places we visited. His enthusiasm for the Highlands and stories really added a lot to the trip as well. I highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to see the Highlands in just a day!

Had a great experience exploring Scotland and experiencing some of the most beautiful sights and memorable moments at the Loch Ness. Alan B was excellent— incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and engaging. Firstly, I felt very safe under his leadership— he clearly knew the roads and managed to be aware of the timeline without making the day feel rushed. It’s a long day with a lot of driving because the Loch Ness and highlands are a hike from Edinburgh but it really was a great convenient way for a tourist to experience these iconic places. The biggest compliment I can give to Alan is that he sparked an interest in Scottish history for me... I am excited to continue researching the historical figures I learned about. I thought the description was up front about the amount of time in the bus because we cover so many miles so be prepared for that... and a big shout out to Alan B for a great day in scotland! Definitely recommend.

We had a fabulous time with Paul our tour guide. He was funny, witty and very knowledgeable about Scotland and it’s history. He made the right amount of stops for this full day tour. It was well worth the time and money!!

The absolute BEST tour!!! Graham was our tour guide and driver, and he was absolutely amazing! This was the first tour of our total of four during our 10-day trip to the UK & Ireland, and it still stands out to me as the best of the lot. Not only would the sites be hard to beat, simply because they're so absolutely gorgeous (Loch Ness & the Highlands says it all!), but everything about our tour experience was simply incredible. Graham had so much information to share with us, but he wasn't overwhelming in his delivery. He was funny without being an annoying chatterbox, and he was just so pleasant. Additionally, we were travelling on a day in which a potentially bad storm was making its way through Scotland, and he was so conscientious about making sure we got to every site, but also made it back to Edinburgh well ahead of the storm. He was so concerned with making sure that we all were aware that he wasn't trying to cut our tour short, and I just really appreciated how much he cared about our experience. Even if he'd cut our tour short by hours, I would have still given him an excellent review - but the reality was that we made it back to Edinburgh only about 40 minutes earlier than we would have typically made it back. And we managed to avoid a dangerous storm, so I just really appreciated him. I absolutely recommend this tour, and in particular, Graham :)

We had an awesome and wonderful day doing this tour with Heart of Scotland Tours. The trip is wonderful with a really fantastic guide Graham. From my observation he truly enjoys what he is doing. Throughout the journey he provides anecdotes and tells entertaining and some funny stories. There was never a dull moment. To top it off its a small group of people and every one makes a point to be on time.
