Departure Time

8:00 AM
Get the most out of your time on the southern Dalmatian Coast by booking this full-day trip to see the highlights of the neighboring country, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After getting picked up at your hotel and meeting your guide, enjoy the trip north of the city, passing through rustic seaside villages until you get to the border (don’t forget your passport!).

Then carry on inland, stopping in Počitelj, a UNESCO-listed town. Take a stroll around town, and learn about its history as you stop to admire the historical structures of Haji-Ali Mosque and Sahat-kula, a silo-shaped fort on top of the hill above the town.

Drink in the views of the Bosnian countryside as the air-conditioned coach snakes its way toward Medjugorje. Once in the town, hop off the bus for a closer look at this spiritually important town. It all started in 1981 when six children claimed they’d been visited by the Virgin Mary. And ever since then, Medjugorje has been an important stop on the Catholic pilgrimage trail. Take some free time here to explore the town and even attend a church service, if you wish.

Then journey on to Mostar, a historical and culturally significant Balkan town, most known for its jaw-dropping beautiful bridge, connecting the Muslim to the Catholic sides of town. Stroll the streets of the town and take some time to witnesses the daredevils diving off of the bridge.

Head back to Dubrovnik and continue enjoying the views of the countryside until you’re dropped back off at your hotel.

The driver was an amazing woman that gave us a lot of information about Croatia and Bosnia and Hertegovina during the day. I've been in many day trips and this was one of the best ones!

Excellent tour guides, the driver and then the student in Mostar. Took the tour late December during the off season and had no wait line at the borders and it was just me and my sister in the van. Mostar has great history and shopping and restaurants available. Medjugorje was interesting to see. Would highly recommend this tour.

Good trip with a knowledgeable tour guide. Saw some amazing places which brings home how these people have suffered during the years. Well worth going on.

Disappointing day

The tour director on this one day tour was not very friendly and seemed more interested in having a break at each stop for herself. The local guide in Moshstar was fine. We spent at least two hours of the eight hour trip waiting at the border for clearance. We were dumped at Medjugorje and told to be back in 45 minutes. In Moshtar we were delivered into the hands of the local guide, who took us all the way through the shopping street and over their famous bridge, to a shop where a video of the bridge being blown up by the Croats was shown. Of course, we then had to go back through the shops. We then stopped at another UN site for another 45 minutes and once again were left to our own devices.. Not a satisfactory day!

Day trip to Bosnia

This was a day trip we took from Dubrovnik to Bosnia via a minivan. There were a total of six people on the tour and our guide. It was a fairly long ride but scenic as we road along the Adriatic. Once in Bosnia we had Time to walk along the quaint Cobblestone streets and over the bridge made famous during the war. It was an interesting historical tour in our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging.

I highly recommend it his tour while in Dubrovnik.. our guide Lydia was so knowledgeable.. and also very patient with us.. we had kids on our group and she was very patient with them.. we love Mostar, and medjugorje tour.. Mostar is such a charming city and we learned a lot of their history and touched our hearts.. the locals are very nice.. we are very glad we visited this part of Bosnia Herzegovina and get to spend the day to experience this.. we are also glad we did this tour almost late October, less people, less time in the border and the weather is not too hot.. thanks to our driver zack.. he drove us safely home.. super tours called us in our hotel the day before and emailed us the day before to confirm and it was organized

The entire Bosnia and Herzegovina experience though one day is really worth your every cent. Zeljan, our driver was very good. All throughout the bus ride he gives inputs/info. We were on time. Our local guide from Mostar was also very good. The way she explained the importance of the Old Bridge, its destruction and restoration was so touching that we appreciate it more. The local restaurant Emen as suggested by the tour guide served good food. Overall, it was a memorable experience for us.

We didn’t enjoyed excursion at all , hours and hours in the bus without toilet stops , scenery was horrible , country was full of rubbish ,nothing nice to see apart old Mostar town , but even Mostar wasn’t beautiful ,it looked like Soviet Union years ago . Guide Tanya (I hope I’ve spelt her name correctly ) was absolutely horrible , nasty and rude ,all bus was shocked by her behaviour , be paid money to enjoy our excursion ,but not to look at her grumpy face and listen to her nasty comments sometimes , was shocking , she is not suitable for the job at all ! Journey took 13 hours ,we back absolutely exhausted
