Private Bosnia and Herzegovina Tour From Dubrovnik

After travelling on a cruise ship around the Adriatic for a week, we had 3 days in Dubrovnik. As our time was limited we decided to do a private tour. This was a lot more expensive as there was only two of us. However we didn't want to feel rushed and wanted some comfort, having our own space. The trip was excellent and worth every penny. Zoran was our guide and he was excellent at explaining so much of the vast history to us. We enjoyed having the space, our own itinerary and the ability to leave a little earlier or later from each location. This is a beautiful tour and Mostar was a really magical place. Wear appropriate shoes for the walking in Mostar and near the waterfalls. Don't bother with the small town Pocitelj after Mostar, there was not enough there to see and do to warrant a stop. Instead do Medjugorje which is the sight of the apparition. This may make the trip a little longer, but we felt Pocitelj was not a worthwhile stop. I would reccomend to find restaurants via TripAdvisor and not to take the advice of the tour guide on where to eat. We did take our guides advice and felt that we were in a tourist trap restaurant. The food was not great and we learnt a valuable lesson.
