Returns to original departure point
Get picked up at your hotel in Dubrovnik and then hop inside the air-conditioned vehicle to make the drive south to Montenegro. Drink in the views of the Adriatic Sea and the Dubrovnik Riviera and learn about the history and culture of the area from your local guide.

After crossing the border to Montenegro, twist and turn with the road, going around the large Bay of Kotor, and passing through charming villages along the way. Then stop in Perast, a lovely town at the base of St Elijah Hill. Consider taking the optional boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks island to check out the baroque-era church (at own expense).

The next stop is Kotor, situated in a fjord and one of the most eye-pleasing Montenegrin towns. Once there, begin a walking tour that goes throughout the squares and narrow cobbled streets, taking you to historic churches such as the Cathedral of St Tryphon. Then take some free time to do some wandering—consider marching up the 1,350 steep steps to the San Giovanni Castle for an incredible view and photo opportunity—or sit down for a drink or a snack (at own expense).

After Kotor, head to Budva, a gorgeous walled city on the sea boasts attractive beaches and narrow cobbled streets. Take some free time to explore or sit down for a meal (at own expense).

Take a ferry ride across the Bay of Kotor and then enjoy a final scenic drive along the coastal roads of Montenegro to end your day. You are returned to your Dubrovnik hotel.

Amazing country

Our guide Krystian (spelled incorrectly) was amazing, gave my family recommendations. Great laughter and amazing views. I would recommend this tour and Krystian to everyone!
Unprofessional service

I couldn't participate in the trip as there wasn't enough details about covid test requirements on the web. I tried to contact the operator few days before the trip for more details but they answered only day before in the afternoon (departure would have been at 7 am) when I heard I should have had new covid test to come back to Croatia after the day trip. However, I was on the ferry at the moment on my way to Dubrovnik where I arrived after 2100 when it was not possible to have test anymore. They said to me it's not their fault but I think it is as there wasn't enough information AND they didn't answer me early enough. I have tried to ask for refund from Viator but I haven't got any answer. In addition, the trip is advertised to start at 0800 but the pick ups are earlier, even before 7.
Best of day trips!

This was an awsome excursion! Ivan our guide was full of knowledge about Croatia and Montenegro. The 3 stops were enjoyable. The only suggestion I’d make is to make the Kotor stop 30min less and Budva 30 min longer. Not enough time in Budva to sit down to lunch AND walk the city. Otherwise it was a great day/tour.
What a great day in Montenegro!

This was a great way to see some highlights of Montenegro. Our tour guide (Vladimir) was a great storyteller and very knowledgeable. Would recommend this day trip for sure!

Very well organized and executed. Timely and to the point. Ivan was a great guide: knowledgeable, courteous, great sense of humor! However, Montenegro itself ( Budva precisely) did not live up to our expectations.

Super Fun!

Overall the trip was fantastic and very well-run, definitely worth it. Christian was a great guide, and provided excellent history on Montenegro and all the towns we visited. My only issue is with the pick up time; the tour states an 8 am start, and we were informed the night before that our pick up time was 650 am…a little more transparency on the actual start time would be good.
Excellent tour, well worth the trip.
