This is a shore excursion that should not be missed. Begin at Pile Gate where you’ll learn that it’s one of three entry points into the city through the walls, which were first constructed first in the 12th century but with several modifications through the years.

The first stop on the tour is Onofrio’s Fountain, a large circular structure that is the terminus for a 7.5-mile (12-km) aqueduct. Have a drink of the fresh water from the many faucets on the tank and then walk over to have a look at the Franciscan Monastery, with its beautiful Gothic courtyard, among many other great works of art inside.

Continue walking down the Stradun, one of the widest and certainly the most fashionable streets in town, until you reach the Renaissance-era Sponza Palace. Learn the history of this stunning building and then walk on to see and learn about Orlando’s Column, the City Bell Tower, the Rector’s Palace and the Church of St Blaise, named for the city’s patron saint. Continue across the main square, where you will visit Dubrovnik's Cathedral of the Assumption, a Baroque church built in the 18th century after an earthquake destroyed the original one.

Fabulous tour of Dubrovnik.

Great guide who had a passionate love for her country and history. The meeting place is about a 10 minute walk after the exit if the port. Turn to the right and walk past the bus station and then about 10 minutes.

A great tour of the city by a local. Would have been nice to have more free time, so we just took a taxi back to the ship instead of the ride provided by the company.

We really enjoyed this tour. The guided portion of the tour was great with a lot of great information. We appreciated that at the start of the free time the guide let us know that if we didn't want to go back to the ship right away we didn't have to. We really wanted to walk the walls and this worked out perfectly for us since we ended right at the entrance. This was a great alternative to the busy ship excursions offered.

It was my impression that the tour company does not have a lot of experience. The pick up arrangements were very poorly described. As it turned out, there were several entrances to the port of Dubrovnik with the sign that said Port of Dubrovnik on each them. The tour company did not specify near which one of these signs we were to meet or that there was more than one of them, so we waited near the one were our ship docked for a long time. Then I needed to make a couple of phone calls to get hooked up with our driver and a guide Elvis. Their office on the phone said that we had to go and look for them, but they did not give clear instructions. They said they could not come and pick us up because there were people from other ships/locations, and they needed to wait for everyone in a central location. When we finally met up with the driver and the guide, they had no one on the bus. So, this was very frustrating! The company did not do any homework in terms of finding out that all the people on the tour were from one ship, and that they could just pick us up in one location, or at least give us clearer instructions where to meet. In addition, it was a rainy day, which made walking around and looking for the mini-van only more difficult. The tour itself turned out to be pretty fare, although we had better ones. The city of Dubrovnik was absolutely beautiful, and I wish we had a better tour guide to explore it with.

The tour began with a private drive the top of the mountain to take a picture of town. Nice photo ops. Didn't know this was going to happen. When back to town to meet up with the rest of our group of eight. Tour consisting of walking through the old town with guide pointing out interesting buildings and facts. Could've spent more time walking around versus listening to the Tour guide. Tour did not go on the walls around town. Walked that on own. Guide was ok but not easy to hear. Would do it on you own with guidebook

We had a little walk from the ship to find the tour guide, but fortunately someone answered when we called to direct us to where we needed to be. We were driven, in a minivan, up the highway overlooking the town for a marvelous view, then back down into the old town for a walking tour. Impressive medieval buildings.

A part of our tour was just for the two of us, and then we join a group of about 10 folks. We enjoyed when we could hear the tour operator tell of the history. Dubrovnik is a scenic town worth a visit.
