Begin the day trip by getting picked up at your hotel in the center of Dubrovnik and then enjoy the drive in a comfortable coach, as it meanders its way south along the beautiful stretch of road along the shimmering Adriatic Sea.

In the old village of Perast, get off the bus for a brief visit. With your guide leading the way, embark on a short journey on a boat into the middle of the Bay of Kotor to see the baroque-era Church of Our Lady of the Rocks, a 17th-century sacred structure with an impressive collection of murals.

After returning to the mainland, drive to Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed medieval walled town that could soften even the most hardened traveler. Follow your guide around town learning about the history of the place and popping into churches, linger in squares and walking down narrow cobbled streets.

Finally, back on the coach, cruise along the Bay of Kotor and then stop at the ferry terminal to take the ferry across the picturesque bay. Then return to Dubrovnik and get dropped off at your hotel.

Beware of long delays at the border!
, Sep 2019
It took 90 minutes to cross into Montenegro though it was much quicker coming back to Croatia. The island boat trip was nice and Kotor was interesting with plenty of places to eat.
Day trip not as advertised!
, Jun 2019
We spent nearly 6 hours on a bus to spend 20 minutes in the church and three hours on Kotor. It really should be advertised this way. This was a complete waste of one of our two days in Dubrovnik. On Kotor we were handed over to a local guide for a tour. He had no microphone and he was very hard to hear. We ended up leaving the tour to go to lunch as it was already 2pm. There were no breaks for bathrooms built in when we were on either island or on the 3 hour bus ride back. This was an awful trip!

Beautiful scenery and sights, both natural and man made. Really worthwhile doing this tour if you have only a day for Montenegro. Only problem was we had to wait a long time for lunch, so maybe bring some snacks and water.

Expect delays at the boarder crossing. We sat in the bus for 1/1/2 hours. Montenegro is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the short ferry ride. It was amazying to watch our coach board the ferry. The prices of food was reasonable 15 euros for mussels, fish and wine. Don't expect to use Kuna. The shop ONLY accept euros. We had to visit an ATM.

Our guide was inattentive. As soon as the bus doors were open she was gone. This might have worked for a small group but we had a big coach to unload and one gentleman using a cane. So by the time we all got off the bus half of us had to search for the guide. The guide was notably predisposed to German over English adding to the feeling that we didn't know what was going on. Long waits at the border, which required the engine to be shut off, resulted in a sweltering bus, especially toward the rear. By the time the rear of the bus got somewhat cooler the front was complaining of the cold. Had we known of situation at the border we would have taken a much smaller or even an individual tour 50 passports had to be collected and scanned for each bus in line. Driver was excellent. Lady of the Rock church lovely and interesting. Local guide in Kotor was good.

The tour was OK, I wasn't particularly impressed with the tour itself a lot of the time at the border with the big buses, guide was OK, not great a stop at a very busy gas station that cost us like 30 minutes of our time when everyone went to the toilet pick up of some passengers took like another 20 minutes we had to wait for them by the airport, although Montenegro is beautiful. Overall, I feel that we could have seen a lot more and done a lot more if we just rented the car and did the tour by ourselves.

This trip was guided by Barbara, a language buff who conducted this tour in both English and French. We were staying in the Old Town and our pick up point was the Hilton hotel, a few minutes outside the Pile Gates. It was a comfortable bus ride through the border checks to Perast where we traveled by boat to Our Lady of the Rock Church and enjoyed an informative guided tour of the church and attached museum. We then bused to the Bay of Kotor where had a 40 minute guided tour of the Old Town after which we had over 2 hours to explore the town, grab lunch and for the fitter tourist a climb up the city walls to the church on the hill for impressive views over the city. This was an enjoyable day trip conducted very well by Barbara and supported by an excellent bus driver, Tommy.
