Returns to original departure point
Board your bus in central Dublin and set off your Giants Causeway Day Tour. Soak up the scenery as you cross the border into Northern Ireland (bring your passport!) and journey north along the rugged Antrim Coast.

Enjoy a couple of hours of free time to explore the Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. Snap photos of the jaw-dropping natural wonder as you clamber along the unusual basalt columns and look out over the windswept coast. Be sure to ask your guide how the Giant’s Causeway got its name.

After strolling along the Giant’s Causeway, get ready for another equally dramatic walk—along the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Brave a walk across the historic rope bridge, which passes 100ft (30m) over the Atlantic Ocean and connects the coastal cliffs of Northern Ireland to Carrick-a-Rede Island.

Finally, follow in the footsteps of your favorite 'Game of Thrones' characters as you stop by some of the most memorable Northern Ireland filming locations. See Larrybane Quarry, where Brienne of Tarth was introduced in the series, and the seafront Dunluce Castle, seen on screen as the House of Greyjoy. After a day packed full of adventure, jump back onboard the coach for the return journey and end your tour in central Dublin.

Best tour ever!

This was the best tour we've ever been to. Starting with the tour guide, Anthony. He was dressed up like a medi-evil character. He was funny and very informative. The tour took us on eight stops, where GOT was filmed. We stopped in a quaint pub, where the tour guide called ahead with our orders. When we got there, the food was hot and ready. At one stop, Anthony had costumes for everyone and they acted out scenes. On the bus, he played DVD's of GOT, along with a highlights one. This trip was totally worth it!

Long day, limited time at stops

Pros- a lot of miles covered in one day with the opportunity to "see" Belfast as you drive through it. The coach was comfortable. Pretty countryside views along the way. Cons- Less than the promised 2 hours given at Giant's Causeway, very quick lunch stop at a mediocre cafe and not enough time given for some people in our group to make it to the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge before having to turn back to the tour bus. The tour guide was friendly and stuck to scheduled times as promised, however the sites were so busy with other tour groups it was difficult to move through with much efficiency. The music played on the bus was repetitive, would be nice if there was more frequent changes of the couple of CDs played on repeat all day.

Giant causeway and G.O.T. From Dublin.

I really enjoyed the whole experience of the bus tour and the amazing scenery of the drive up to BELFAST and surrounding areas then onto the giant causeway. The walk on the suspension bridge was fantastic. The only complaint I have is the Place where we went for lunch. I am a vegetarian and I didn't find the food very good plus there wasn't enough choices. I realise that there was a shortage of time and/or venues but on a previous tour we stopped at a place where we had a choice of venues and menus.

Mis-led Giant's

This was meant to be the highlight of my trip to Ireland with my sister, and it was better than trying to make our own way around, but it would have been a lot better if they did what they said they would do, If you're going to "guarantee two hours" at the Giant's Causeway, don't spend 45 minutes at a restaurant (how much do they pay you to bring 50 tourists there?) and then only give people 70 minutes at the site. And considering it takes 25-30 minutes to walk there, that means we had 10 minutes. They didn't pay for the bus to enter the parking area, so that also added 5-10 minutes that could have been saved. And when they say they pay for everything, what they mean is, they pay for nothing because the only things that cost are parking and the visitor centre, which THEY DONT'T PAY FOR. At the Carrick-a-Rede bridge, they mis-informed us of the time we had to be back, so we ended up almost running to make sure we could cross it, but we then immediately turned around. They were off by an hour, so we actually did have enough time to go up the small island, but we didn't know that. Dunluce Castle was a pleasant photo opportunity, and the sights overall were magnificent, but we really missed out on enjoying the best parts of the trip. The rain, we expected. Not having time to visit the advertised sights? The driver and guide chatted constantly to each other, but what information they passed on was useful and interesting. For the operators, please skip the restaurant, I can bring my own food. Let us see the sights we pay for!

Very good trip with Ross

The trip itself was amazing and Ross is very nice and funny; however it is a shame we didn't get to see the Dark Hedges. Ross did inform us they were now closed to the public due to the visitors disturbing the neighbourhood, but we would have liked to be informed beforehand as we did pay to see them.

Awful experience

The bus driver was terribly rude, he clearly demonstrated prejudice with our nationality and embarrassed my family and me in front of the other customers in the bus claiming that we should be silent while he talks, what made the trip bored since he never stopped to speak. Even after I had a private talking to him asking to leave us alone, he kept being sarcastic teasing us. Also, we spent way too much time into the bus, he stopped 3 times at the restaurants where probably he is tipped for bringing customers, and that left us with a very short time to be at the touristic points. My sister in low, who has an injury in her uncles politely asked him to be considerable with her problem relating it to the short time he gave us, he suggested her to stay into the bus and don`t go for the Carrick a rede since she could delay us making him to pay a fine. We could not hop off from the bus to see the Dark Hedges and we did not stopped in Belfast because, in according to him, we did not have time left for this but stopped at a restaurant for people use the toilet when the bus had a toilet? I had my family visiting me for two days and one of them was a terrible experience thanks to this man.

not exactly what it says it is

Couple of things - tour says "admission to Giant's Causeway".....well yes the bus dropped us off there but there was no admission paid. My daughter went to purchase a post card and they told her she hadnt paid admission. That was $12.50 euros in order for her to buy the postcard. Also, there was no guided tour - everyone on the bus had to spend an additional $10 euros for that. The tour also listed Dark Hedges as a stopping point, but the bus driver told us he wasnt allowed to stop....

Disappointed and Rushed

I took this trip with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago, and we were a little disappointed with it. Pros: - We got to see the highlights we wanted in Northern Ireland without having to drive ourselves or figure out the logistics. - Everything was timed out to the minute, making everything very punctual. - Photo stop at Dunluce Castle and the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge visit were as expected. The Rope Bridge area is gorgeous and definitely worth a visit. - We chose to take an optional guided walking tour of the Giant’s Causeway for an additional 10 euro that the driver set up for us. It taught us about the local myths and geology behind the Causeway. We really enjoyed it. - Driver had interesting facts about Ireland and personal experiences to share about the relationship between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. - The seats were comfortable. Cons: - A schedule with this much drive time needs to have more flexibility to allow for traffic and other delays, while not taking away from the customers time at the stops. We were rushed at our 2 main attractions so the driver could get home on time. - We were guaranteed a 2-hour stop at the Giant’s Causeway, and were instead given 1.5-hours. Seeing as this was the main attraction of the trip, this was very frustrating. - I wish we would have been given more time at the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. We had just enough time to power walk to the bridge, wait in line to cross it, spend 10 minutes on the little island, then power walk back. It was very rushed. - The driver treated the passengers like kids on a school bus more than paying customers. He scolded people when they talked while he was talking and was constantly warning us against tardiness in a slightly threatening manner, threatening to leave people behind if they were late. - The photo stop at the Dark Hedges was extremely overrated. The bus wasn’t allowed to stop without paying 60 euros as an entrance fee, so we did a slow cruise drive-by instead on a perpendicular street, while looking out the windows. It was raining so everything outside the windows was blurry, and the Dark Hedges start down the road a bit, so we actually didn’t see the Hedges at all, and this was 1 of the 4 attractions of the trip. - WI-FI on the bus didn’t always work.

Great tour, our tour guide was Brian...

Great tour, our tour guide was Brian. We got to see many sights of northern Ireland, including a number of the Game of Thrones sites which was great. If I had known how incredible the cliffs at Giant's Causeway were make sure when you get to the causeway you turn around!, I would have booked a separate day tour so I could have spent a few hours here, checked out the cliffs up top, and walked around the inlet. Regardless, it was an amazing day!
