A brilliant tour !

Myself and my husband did this tour with Brian on the 28th of August. We actually live in Dublin but were on a one night hotel break in the city and wanted to see the Book of Kells. Brian was a wealth of knowledge and we learned so much about Irish history on the tour. He had so many interesting facts about the city and we saw it in a completely different light. Dublin Castle was fascinating. I've walked through it so many times but only knew a fraction of the history of the castle and surrounds. To be honest I've always found history a bit boring but Brian was so entertaining and information that I bought a book on the history of Dublin before we headed home. Thanks so much and I will definitely be booking more tours in the future .

Hi Ruth, thank you so much for your 5 star review. We have been curating tours for the past 6 years delivered by exceptional guides like Brian. We only work with inedibly talented guides that are passionate about their city and country and have a knack for creating a narrative that is engaging, educational but above all interesting with lots of information punctuated with an Irish sense of humor, so lots of good laughs along the way. It appears Brian did all that on your tour so we are delighted that you appreciated the content of the tour and its many highlights. We look forward to hosting you again in the future. My guide was awesome! I know this review is really late, but I am so glad that they waited for me, my flight was delayed in the US and by the time I got there, I was running, but so glad that I made it. Great info.

We had a very nice time on our tour of the Book of Kells and the exterior of Dublin Castle. Our tour guide, Brian, was very knowledgable and full of passion and enthusiasm. We enjoyed all of the history Brian was able to share and appreciated the stories he told along the way. This was our second walking tour of our week-long trip to Ireland, and would recommend it for adult travelers.

COVID-19 be Damned! A Tour of Dublin with your mates
Joseph_G
, Mar 2020
In spite of the chaos surrounding COVID-19 and all the closures, Neil took the time to meet us anyway, having missed the notification that Trinity College had been completely closed to tourists. Our first day in Dublin was saved! We got a private tour filled with laughs and education on the city and history of Dublin, including Dublin Castle. As our host said, it felt as though it were a walk on the town with your mates. We had a great experience! Thank you Neil!!

Cancelled but not told
Kelli
, Mar 2020
The Book of Kells was closed for health and safety reasons the day prior to my tour which means I could have cancelled and received a full refund but instead of Viator reaching out to me either with text message or email I found out at time of tour and now will have to argue with Viator to get my money back. Waste of my time which could have been spent elsewhere in the beautiful city.
icon Response from Host , Jul 2020
Hi Kelli, due to the Covid crisis things in the beginning where changing on an hourly basis. All our partners have issued full refunds to our guests who could not visit due to venues being closed. Obviously this is something out of our control but we are here to help should you have any additional questions. Please contact us if you are visiting Dublin or anyone of our other European cities such as Amsterdam, London, Edinburgh, Paris, Malaga or Barcelona. We would love to show you the best of these cities too once we can re open our operations. If you are coming back to Ireland we would be delighted to book you on one of our tours in Galway, Waterford or Killarney. Thanks again for your review.
