This tour was free for most of those in the group. :(

A lot of history....lucky if we retained 2% of it! the only bummer....our group seemed to double in size as we went along....many didn't pay...just joined it for free outside of the gates. Made it more difficult to hear. Suggest a big sticker for paying customers...or something. We didn't even have to prove that we paid.

All guides know in advance how many people have prepaid so it would be rare if people could complete the tour for free. Thank you for your comment

We started our trip with this particular tour, and it was perfect. Our guide was informative, smart and engaging. We learned a tremendous amount about Ireland's history and it's impact on present day. Hearing the stories while standing in the same places being referenced was incredible. We would highly recommend this tour for any visitor.

Our guide, a Trinity College graduate student, provided us with one of the best tours I’ve had anywhere. (Sorry, I forgot his name). He was informative, clever, & very well-versed in Irish history. He made it cone alive! Great tour.

We really enjoyed this walking tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable with great communication skills. By the end of the tour I felt that I had received a great deal of information about the history of Ireland and the complex relationship between Britain and the Irish people.

Our guide talked too fast

Well the rain didn't help. Hard to enjoy the city when the rain is really coming down. But our guide did make an effort to keep us as dry as possible. The biggest issue was that it was hard to understand him. He had a very thick accent and talked very fast. So I didn't get much of the history.

Excellent tour guide

I didn’t catch the tour guides name but he was a lecturer at the university. This guy was so knowledgeable and smart. Our group was twice the size as normal as the other guide was sick so I was concerned that it would be hard to hear him with such a large crowd. I need not have worried. In his own words “I have a big booming voice”. The tour lasted 2 hours and I was spellbound for it all. I learned so much about the political history of this city but what was of special importance to me was that it was delivered in an intellectual and factual manner and without personal opinion or bias. I have lived in Canada for many years, but was born in Belfast so this was of significance to me. Good job!

Without a doubt, the tour is interesting- so much to absorb. But also, there's no doubt that the difference between a "5" and a "3" was our guide Sylvie. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable and very enjoyable!
