Travel independently to the Wild Wadi Water Park in Dubai’s Jumeirah district. Show your ticket, stroll through the gates and enjoy the park’s 30 or so aquatic adventures at your own pace.

Take your pick from the white-knuckle and gentler attractions, and the array of fun pools. The water park is themed around Juha, the much-loved hero of Arabian legend, and there are rides for all ages, from the tiniest toddlers to adrenaline-loving grown-ups.

Perhaps float along the lazy river, or let the kids loose on the water sprays, slides and dumping buckets of the colorful Dhow and Lagoon.

Fancy taking things up a gear? Waft down Flood River to conquer its sudden waves and foaming river rapids, or catch the surf at Breaker’s Bay, the Middle East’s biggest wave pool, where 5-foot (1.5-meter) waves come at you from every direction!

For serious thrills, tackle the heart-pounding heights of Jumeirah Sceirah. Climb the 105-foot (32-meter) tower, board a capsule and then scream out loud as you plummet back down at 50mph (80kmph).

Alternatively, go giddy on the rotating Tantrum Alley, ride a tube down into the high-speed spiralling bowl of the Burj Surj; or shoot 49 feet (15 meters) into the sky on the powerful Master Blasters.

When you need a breather, relax over lunch, snacks and drinks (all at own expense) at the restaurants or cafes. Dig into tasty pizzas, pastas or barbecue fare or refuel with a smoothie, juice, soda or ice cream — there’s a food outlet for every taste.

Perhaps finish at the gift, toy and aqua-wear stores to buy mementos of your day.

When you’ve had your fill of fun, leave the park when you wish. Your ticket is valid up till closing time on the day.

Please note: Wild Wadi will be closed for maintenance from (January 14, 2017 to February 9, 2017).

Good overall but park not entirely suitable if you have babies. Also, they charge extra for using lockers which is a minus.

Water park is quite small but the rides are great. They didn't seem to be familiar with people who had booked via viator, which resulted in a 10min wait at the gate in the searing heat :( The queue for taxi after was v long. No sprinklers on the floors as stated. Don't forget ur towels.

Loved Wild Wadi, such a fun place for children and adults, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and did not want to leave. I would defiantly visit again.

The ticket was only to get into the waterpark. We had to take public transportation to get there and we got lost a bit. Also, once we got off of the public transportation, we still had to walk a bit. It would have been better to have had a driver with this ticket. Overall, though once we got to the park, it was fabulous!

The park is quite small and as far as 'thrilling' rides there really is only one which could be considered thrilling for older children or adults. The remaining few rides are really very tame which makes it a nice day out but for the price you pay definitely could be more enjoyable.

We were a bit disappointed with Wild Wadi. A lot of money for not much variety of rides. Better suited to younger children. Staff very helpful and ammenities clean.

It's great fun for all the family. We visited on 5th April as part of a group of seven, ages ranging from 5 year old to 50+, we all had great fun on the slides and rides, but the only down side was the lack of sunbeds, could do with more space to relax after the exhilaration.

Over priced, only 4 rides for adults, its good for family. Really disappointed, I planned for a full day trip to wild wadi, but got done with it in 2 hrs. Aqua-venture water park any day better than this.
