Why Travelers Choose This Tour
Comprehensive for its price, with a stop at the Louvre museum and gowns on loan to visit the Grand Mosque.
After morning hotel pickup in Dubai, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s capital.
Pass the Jebel Ali Free Zone, one of the world’s biggest, and hear about Abu Dhabi’s growth after the discovery of oil in the 1950s. Hear how the city is now recasting itself as a tourist destination by building state-of-the-art leisure attractions. Take a tour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, to admire the white marble courtyards and prayer rooms of this vast, modern masterpiece.
Then, head for Yas Island, the city’s entertainment epicenter, to view the exteriors of the Yas Marina F1 Circuit, home to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and Ferrari World theme park.
See the avant-garde cultural buildings rising from Saadiyat Island, and the Al Hosn Palace, once home to the emirate’s ruling family, before enjoying free time for lunch (own expense) at the Mall.
Drive by the palm-fringed Corniche and opulent Emirates Palace hotel, and visit the Heritage Village, a recreated oasis settlement. See the replica falaj irrigation system, souk, and Bedouin tents, and watch the handicraft and glass-making displays for a glimpse into bygone, pre-oil Abu Dhabi.
Your tour concludes with an early evening hotel drop-off in Dubai.
Great efforts by company to reach out to us way before our tour to get our details (pick-up location), etc. Guide also arrived before the stipulated time to pick us up. Although all the attractions in Abu Dhabi were closed due to covid-19, our guide tried his best to give us as many good photo opportunities as possible. He was also knowledgeable and quite engaging.
To improve: answering of our queries. I asked at least 3 times regarding an estimate of what time the tour would end, and all the person behind the whatsapp did was to say “please read my instructions carefully”. And the instructions were only about covid measures, nothing about ending time. I wasn’t expecting an exact time, but just a rough gauge (late afternoon, evening, etc). The guide also wasn’t able to answer questions asked by the group, he seemed more interesting in telling us what he knew in a one-way manner.
Due to the corona-virus outbreak all visitor attractions were closed on the day we visited Abu Dhabi. We still manage to enjoy a brief but informative tour of the City, with opportunities to take photo's of the places we were due to visit and experience.
For the amount paid, the trip is way worth it.
I enjoyed the Ferrari world.
I wish we spent more time at each of those places but tbh, the plans and time allocated was enough.
Timing was perfect and the moderator Mr Binu was very fantastic..
I would come back again if I return with friends.....
This trip was excellent from start to finish. All staff were pleasant and courteous, especially the tour guide. (Apologies but I don’t remember his name, rude of me I know). He was an Indian guy who was so engaging and enthusiastic. We covered all the main attractions in Abu Dhabi, albeit not entering all, with the highlight being the Grand Mosque. Would definitely recommend this tour for all ages. There is some walking at the Mosque but if you have difficulty helpful staff have electric buggies available along the underground entrance passage. We did the tour in early March when the weather was quite warm but manageable. Traffic is also very light in Abu Dhabi, the complete opposite of Dubai. A great day out but not exhausting in any way. Certainly a good insight into another culture and way of life. Also good value for what we paid and what we got out of it. Hope this helps.
