Cinema city closed, Richard Serra sculpture magnificent!

Guide was very good but unfortunately the trip is NOT as explained on the site! The cinema city/mushroom has been closed down with guard and fence since the last few years according to the guard at the fence. Covid as excuse? Or large construction going on? So the guide has to improvise by taking us to the camel race track and another mushroom rock which was nice! But what makes this trip worthwhile is the magnificent sculpture east west/west east by Richard Serra. Maybe a suggestion for a new tour would be to visit the large art/sculptures around Doha and some of the private musea!

My tour guide Sadiq picked me up from my hotel and was very polite and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful trip to see Zekreet, Mushroom bluffs and best of all to see Richard Serra’s giant monolithic sculpture EAST WEST WEST EAST. And it turns out it was Richard Serra’s birthday that day as well! Much thanks to Sadiq and Falcon tours. Visiting the Serra’s was my number one reason for visiting Qatar and this tour was extremely inspiring. Highly recommended tour!
