Lunch and Tequila Tasting in Casa Mission

Very informative of the product specific to the family business. Lunch was great in a beautiful hocienda setting.

The tour started off amazing and the tour guide explained how they harvest,cook,crush and ferment their tequila. This tequila isn’t just your average tequila. It’s organic blue agave that is aged before it’s harvested with no added sugars or anything. Yes the price of the tequila may be a tad steep BUT if you want the best tequila you have to pay for it!We tasted 7 tequilas and were blown away by the smoothness and taste of each aged tequila. The coffee liquor tequila is one of our favourites we tried. Too bad we can’t buy tequila at home like this but will give us an excuse to come back ! As for the restaurant, really good authentic home cooked meal. Not shy on portions! Very very excellent service and just overall great experience !

There was no one there to greet us. It said our trip advisor would be Albert but there wasn’t anyone who greeted us.

Will definitely be doing this again. Food was amazing and service was superb. This would be an excellent excursion if on a cruse.

The business was closed ... no longer operating ... when we got there! My sister and I get all the way to the restaurant, which was open, but the tequila tasting area was out of business.

Don't buy this tour. There is no benefit doing so as I will explain. As part of the tour, we were supposed to be picked-up at the ferry terminal. We tried to communicate with the contact person to make arrangements for our pick-up at the terminal. We phoned that person daily and several times per day but no one ever answered. We couldn't leave a message because the voice mail box was full. We sent an email to the restaurant asking them to notify this person to communicate with us but they never replied. Lunch was ok. The food was good but not great. The lime soup is excellent and so was the catch of the day. However, the vegetables were overcooked. We also ordered the mexican combination which was average. The service was great. After lunch, we were led to the restaurant's store were they offer tequila tasting. On our way there, we saw a big sign that read: Free Tequila tasting. There are dozens of places in Cozumel that offer free tequila tasting in the hope of selling you their very special and very expensive tequila. The journey through the making of the national drink of Mexico lasted less than 2 minutes. We were then led to a table were we tasted 4 different tequila, one that sells for USD49.00, one for USD65.00, one for USD85.00 and one for USD120.00. We also tasted 4 dessert tequilas. The tequila tasting part lasted about 10 minutes. Anyone can stop by the restaurant's store and have the free tequila tasting as it is part of the process to sell their expensive tequila. One doesn't need to buy this tour for that. In terms of cost, the tour has no benefits. One would be better off just making a reservation to have lunch at the restaurant. This way you get to chose the date you want to go. This also give you more choices on the menu.

Very confusing since an address was not on voucher. we called the restaurant and no one answered the phone. We had a kind lady in town who worked at leather store flagged a cab down for us who took us to restaurant and made sure we were taken care of. His name was Carlos and he was really awesome taxi driver he even came back in 2 hours to pick us up. Once we were at the restaurant they were confused because they said it was the first voucher they had seen but Carlos spoke with them and made sure we were taken care of. After all the confusion I will say the meal and drink were excellent and I would highly recommend they just need to make this clearer.
