Meet your guide at the Charleston Maritime Center in downtown Charleston 30 minutes prior to departure, and check in at the blue and white ticket booth onsite. Learn the basics of onboard safety before heading out into the Charleston Harbor. This is not a narrated tour, but the captain and first mate will be available throughout the sail to answer questions and point out local landmarks.

Cruise under the iconic span of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge as navigate along the scenic harbor, and enjoy an mellow playlist of music. See the Battery, Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie and Charleston’s scenic lighthouses from the water—with unobstructed views, this is the perfect time to snap photographs of the iconic landmarks.

Relax on deck for nature’s sunset show: the sun sets directly over the land, lighting up the clouds and waterfront. Soft drinks, beer and wine are available for purchase, and you’ll finish your harbor cruise back at the Maritime Center, close to some of downtowns best bars, restaurants and cafes.

The sunset cruise was fun and informative. The captain and first mate were knowledgeable and humorous. One of the highlights was seeing several pods of dolphins! It was a relaxing way to see the city and learn some of its history and natural beauty.

The most memorable part was the views. The views of the beach, sunset, homes and weather along side the route were very nice. Just a few things to keep in mind. When booking it says the ticket doesn’t come with food or drinks however they sell chips and drinks on the cruise. Also the bathroom is not ideal to use so if you can hold it for 2 hours than do that!

Victor and Captain Rob where both amazing guides. They were funny, helpful, knowledgeable, and overall amazing. They would point out different sites and explain them. They even had fun facts about dolphins. Victor did an amazing job taking photos for people during the sunset. We would defiantly go again.

We had a great time on the Sunset Cruise! Victor, the first mate was worth the price of admission alone. He was great fun! The captain was great too. Had lots of interesting facts on Charleston and it’s history. The trip is very relaxing. They do serve beer, wine, seltzer sodas and chips at the bar- pay as you go. One thing you should know is you can’t park “near “ the dock so scope out a place on the way and arrive by 6.
