Vacation time is always limited so we all want to maximize it. This culinary walking tour is worthy of your consideration when visiting Charleston. Our guide was Summer. She was very knowledgeable but wasn’t overbearing. The restaurants were all solid and the food samples were nice. See definitely visited a few places that weren’t on our restaurant radar.

We were blow away at the food we got to sample!! This was our first time doing a food tour but it certainly will not be our last. We were just a couple and we were pair up with a family of teens, parents & grandparents. They made us feel like part of their family. It was great. Our guide was the absolute best!!! She was so knowledgeable of the town's history and the food. She had such a great demeanor and personality. Thank you so much for such a memorable time!!!

Great exposure to eats you might not find on your own.

What a great tour. Mimi was a HOOT! We went to 4 different restaurants - they change based on group size and restaurant availability. One of them is always a dessert. We walked about 10 blocks total, but had a least 20 minutes rest in each restaurant. We have been on more than a dozen food tours and this one ranks right up there with those we most enjoyed.

This was our first foodie tour in Charleston. Four restaurants serving 15 items. More food than we needed. We had some great vegetarian options too. We especially liked the veggie flat bread at HoM and the mussels and bread at 39 Rue de Jean.

So Much Food!

This tour was very fun. We visited 3 very different restaurants and an ice cream shop for dessert. Food was very good and we learned about the origin of the food and interesting tidbits about the chefs and restaurants. Our guide, Charlie (sp?), was enthusiastic and showed us some historic sites along the route to each new restaurant. She was very dynamic and knowledgeable. Each site offered at least 3 courses/options plus we could order wine/beer at each stop.Show up hungry because you will leave with a full stomach!
